Hi, Fleet! Fleeters. Have we come up with a demonym? Or a collective noun? "A floot of fleeters". Eh, needs work.

Anyway, I set up some arts & crafts in the lecture hall on the Iskaulit because it's been very hectic and stressful lately and I thought we could use some creative outlets! Consider this my contribution to the Fleet as someone with a personnel augment. Craft therapy!

So come on by, spread glitter around, and maybe even meet new people! I'll be here for awhile—my room could really use some sprucing up.

[ she waves again and cuts the feed, though she's more than happy to chat with people over the videolink. All are invited to the craft party though! ]

Ah, too bad. From what I understand, that is a rather important part of the job. Far easier to be a warrior. All you need to worry about is hitting things as hard as you can.

I do kind of do that at home. My world's equivalent, I guess. Protecting people from bad guys.

It's a noble cause to follow. I suppose we do that on occasion, back home.

That said we also cause as many problems as we fix, so.

It was the actions of our group which started the civil war that my world will be going through in my future. ...Mostly Anders, but still.

We often found ourselves in the middle of conflict, and though we tried to prevent it from spreading through the city, there was always spillover. To some, we were heroes, to others, we were a plague they had to endure.

That's just how it is sometimes, though.

We did what we thought was best, that is all we can do, realistically.

[Well. Except for Anders. He fucked up SUPER BIG. Screw that guy. ]

Yes, that's true. I feel like people like us, we always expect more from ourselves. But we can only give what we can give.

And often, what we can give is overstretched as is.
