Yo, I gotta question for y'all that I've been thinkin' about. [He started off sounding sure of himself, but falls silent for a moment. How does he even bring this up? I'm just wonderin': that's accepted, here? Is it accepted for the rest of y'all, too? 'Cause I sure as hell didn't see anyone posing any objections to it. Which is amazing, really, 'cause back home we couldn't do nothin' like that at all, and I was just ...curious, I guess.

[Well, John has never actually, you know, seen a talking candlelabra in person. But hey, he's nicer than the clock dude, so that's already a point in Lumiere's favor. And it's always nice to hear French. He slips into the same, easily.]

[To be fair, a bout of Salmonella would be nicer than the clock dude most of the time. Lumière sure does love it when people speak French with him, though. It's a genuine delight.
