Eyuzi System Mingle
Who: Everyone!
Broadcast: If you like!
Action: The planet Lyuku, the Iskaulit, and anywhere else you want
When: Sept 1 to Sept 28
[After a rather short time adrift, the fleet is finally in range of another planet. Small, peaceful, and colorful, there is plenty to do and explore.
Maybe it's enough to forget that vague feeling of unease.
Or not.]

Riona cont.
[He puts on what Merrill once called his 'Champion face' without realizing it. He knows he shouldn't get too involved, that he might just be whisked away again, but he can't help the questions. He wants to know, and that's what's likely going to be his downfall.]

[Riona hopes beyond hope the fleet survived and were just keeping their distance for the time being.]

[He frowns a bit darkly. He doesn't like that they can go mucking around in their brains. But...
It's pointless, really, isn't it? To go trying to fight it. He knows that's not his usual stance on such things but when they can knock him out for months apparently, and have him wake up as if he'd been gone he just... doesn't know how to proceed from there.]
You know what, nevermind. I just got back, this isn't anything that can be solved in a day, let's just... I don't know, enjoy the sunshine, shall we?
no subject
[Ah, she knew she shouldn't have dumped this on him. She grimaces apologetically before nodding along.]
I apologize. It's a bit heavy for your first day back. We're on a pretty nice planet, for once. And the locals are kind, if not oddly superstitious. Have they demanded to look at your palm a lot?

[Maybe she can't feel it, the sense of foreboding that radiates from the planet like a discomforting miasma. It feels like Kirkwall did in that last year and puts an uncomfortable feeling of something about to happen under his skin. Pair that with his being unsure about being back - or having ever left really, he's fuzzy on the details - and you have one very discomforted Hawke.
Not that he really lets it show. The talk of superstition makes him grin.]
They've all decided that I have a weird fate line and that my aura is always some shade of purpley blue or bluey purple.
[He snorts at that. It's not real magic, after all. Amusing though.]
What about you?
no subject
Ah yes, the "auras". Purpley blue sounds nice, whatever it actually means. [It draws a smile out of her, too. As silly as it all is, she can't help but find it a bit charming.] Well, I've been cleared of being a trickster spirit. Also, apparently my "inner balance" is off.
no subject
Who even has inner balance anyway? That's unattainable Chantry talk.

[It makes him feel a bit undermined, though. Like his very real magical ability should be dismissed as frivolous in just the same way. It's a very weird feeling considering they're considered a weapon at home and a reason to lock him up or fight a war. He'll never get over how topsy-turvy worlds they visit in the Fleet are.]
They might have reason to be superstitious though. Something is... very off about this plant's song.
no subject
[She's not surprised he can feel something's wrong. While she can't, she's heard others say as much.]
That seems to be the consensus. [She wonders if she wants to burden him with her nightmare, and the ones others have had. It seems a lot to pile on now...] Hopefully it's just a strange planet, and nothing to worry about.
no subject
[That echoed word hangs between them for a moment and makes Adalwolfe almost want to laugh. When does anything ever turn out to be nothing to worry about?
He does laugh, actually. Just a wry bark of one, but he can't help it.]
No, it's going to turn out to be something, we both know it. It'll just be a mystery how bad.
