Another thing I've noticed for many worlds aside from my own is that hyur tend to be the most prevalent—or even the only—human race.

In Eorzea alone, there are five human races. Roegadyn, elezen, hyur, miqo'te and lalafell. What you would simply call humans are hyur to us. I myself am miqo'te.

A lot of us live in worlds like that, it looks like. They're all different. In mine, there are... people who aren't what we call human, but they look like it. They have some terrifying power.

Not particularly. They're just... greedy. We can't really control when or where they strike, and it doesn't happen often. It's... complicated.
