2 feathers ✞ action + accidental video
Who: Michael
Broadcast: Video (Bloodsport crew only)
Action: On the planet
When: Tonight!
[It's another night and the party continues in one of the city's parks not all that far from where ships and/or shuttles are parked. There's music and laughter and all that good stuff, contrasting pretty heavily with the soot-stained atmosphere.
Michael is there enjoying the joyful company of the fascinatingly friendly locals, who he's more than happy to let shower him free food and drinks and, best of all, company. Not that he has anything against his crew, but they're kind of a serious bunch.
Speaking of which, those on the Pathstone might be treated to a slightly blurry image of the angel, his arms over the shoulders of two reasonably attractive native ladies as he dances in step with them. There's a decent crowd around them, clapping and smiling smiles that cracks their facepaint. Clearly he must have put his communicator down and something and one of the locals turned it on, but Michael doesn't look like he's going to notice any time soon.
Of course, anyone is welcome to stumble onto this.]

whether or not he even recognizes the angel, it's his group that Nel gravitates toward next, careening into their midst with a surprising amount of grace for what he's consuming]

...and hell yes his face brightens when he sees the circle dancing, and he jumps right in. like he belongs there.]

[as drunk as he is, he's still got an impressive amount of dexterity going on. thank you, elven genetics.
this is where he's happiest--everything else he does is mostly just filling time until he can get to this point again. throwing everything he has (including his poor liver) into reveling.
and the next time he passes Michael, he's breaking off from the motion of the main herd to gravitate toward him instead. he can't help it; he's drawn to familiar faces like a magnet]

Michael starts to clap the rhythm, and the others on his end start to follow suit, encouraging Nel forward as he dances.]
Feels good to dance again, doesn't it?

the clapping gives him fuel, and even though he's most accustomed to dancing in a club--with quite a different atmosphere--he's good at adapting. he both mimics and makes is up. you can't be an elf and not know how to dance in a merry makeshift mob.
his favorite thing is dancing with people though, so after a little bit, he starts eyeing partners. and the ones that smile back are getting danced much closer with.]

his strongest addiction is to affection, so his mood spikes even higher as soon as someone singles him out and slings an arm around him.
and like a reflex, his hands find a waist to slink around so he can tug them closer.]

but while drinking and dancing and reveling in all of this attention, Nel's brain gets set on a single track out of habit. to him, this all means that it's going to end in one place.
so, practically without thinking about it, he's just going to keep getting closer and closer to that dance partner of his, lavishing them with more and more attention.]

Slow down, kid, there's plenty of time for that.
[Which is simultaneously both deeper than it sounds and all the cautioning Michael is really going to do.]
