[lo and behold, we have video!

[commander is, for once, not in his gear. though he's in a simple t-shirt, he's holding the camera with his metal arm, making it hard to see it. you might be able to catch a glimpse of shine where his shoulder closest to the camera almost comes into view, but that's it.]

So I've talked to a few of you about doing some physical training and learning how to defend yourself. If you wanna come test it out, head on over to the Golden. I'll meet you in the cargo hold, and we can see what you're made of.

[Commander....that's a weird name. Then again, it's just about as weird as those guys at the castle that were named after US states. Or just "Doctor". So, he doesn't comment on it.]

[And then he cuts the feed. A little while later, he'll be coming onto the Golden. He's about an average height guy, with a jacket, white gloves and his hair pulled back into a ponytail. He's looking around for this commander guy he saw on the video. Sure. Not exactly super cautious to go spar a guy he just met on the network- but oh well.]

[he might get a little more cautious when he sees him.]

Allen?

[he calls back to him, lifting the fifty-pound weights he has like they weigh a tenth of that in the cargo hold.]

[He follows the direction of the voice until he finds the Commander, stopping a few feet away from him. The man stands a good half foot taller than Allen, and in terms of build Allen could probably hide in this guy's shadow. It certainly doesn't help Allen that he looks much closer to 16, unlike this man who looks like a weathered soldier. The weights in the Commander's hands doesn't go unnoticed either, it's not unlike the ones that are on the Blue Fish so Allen knows exactly how much it weighs.]

[He's willing to bet it was no coincidence that he walked in on the Commander lifting that. He's seen tricks like that before. An intimidation tactic, as well as a way to gauge other's reactions when you're assessing a threat.]

[Allen chooses to call on the elephant in the room with a joke.]

Ah, you're not going to throw fifty pound weights at me for training, are you? I would've brought a helmet had I known.

[He smiles and holds out his right hand to shake]

Nice to meet you, Commander.

I don't know, you look like you could catch them.

[but he sets them down and reaches forward, taking that hand for a solid handshake.]

Nice to meet you, too, Allen.

[He'll give a solid handshake in return, before letting go of the hand. He takes a step back and starts to pull off his jacket now that he's here. It's just a basic tee underneath- and yeah, and his left arm is blood red in color. He sets the coat down on some boxes, but leaves the gloves on]

Maybe. I've never tested it with weights.
