Who: Wrath
Broadcast: Fleetwide Video
Action: HS Marsiva hospitality deck
When: 6/13
[It's... probably a sad statement about Wrath's life that waking up in a strange place with something plugged into her neck? Not actually that weird. Not remembering how she got to said place? Also not that weird. Not remembering signing up for some kind of reality show?
At this point she just assumes that she's been subjected to another recode.
...okay, maybe a recode that went a little wrong. Who knows how much time she's lost, but it's an accomplishment that she's immediately aware of those things, she knows that. And she also knows better than to think about it too hard. Just have to roll with the punches.
Focus on what she can do. Which would be figuring out the communicator thing (hey, that's all pretty familiar!), try to read some stuff to get oriented, give up on reading, and just go for it.
So there you go. Tiny woman, bright pink hair, surprisingly deep voice.]
Maine? Orion? You around anywhere? Delta? North? Christine? Foxtrot? Whiskey?
[That basically covers everyone immediately important.]
Also, if anyone's seen my cane, I'd really like to have it back. It's about... uh. This big. [Holds hands apart.] And it's a cane. But don't press the button on it, there's a sword inside and the spring is kind of touchy.
And my chems. Those are kind of important.
And my kitten. This big. [Teeny.] Calico tabby with little pink jellybean toes.
That will be all, thank you.
[Very authoritative nod, sign off.]
[And after this, she's limping off to find a window and lose her damn mind with delight that she's in space. She can't wait to tell Maine! ...at some point.]

action;
"Goddammit, Maine," she whispers. "You never said it was beautiful." But maybe it isn't so beautiful when someone is trying to kill you all the time.
She misses Maine.
Before she can start feeling too sorry for herself, she steps back and sees the floating guy. "Oh cool? How do you do that?"
action;
"It is an innate ability. Good afternoon." It's not really afternoon when time of day is arbitrary, but it's a polite greeting; enough of JARVIS's influence on him leads him to be polite in most circumstances. "I have only arrived here recently myself and was admiring the view. Beautiful, is it not?"
action;
"It's really pretty. I haven't seen the stars in years and years and... This is way different from being on the ground and looking up. It's so much... bigger."
action;
"Yes, it's a more broad perspective and there seems to be very little interference. Their configuration is unknown to me; I cannot tell precisely where we might be."
action;
"Darn. It would have been great if you could. These don't look like the stars near Zeus either, but those are the only stars I know." She sighs. "It just reminds you how small you are. Which is good sometimes."
action;
"Yes. It's a different kind of perspective, though useful in its own way." Not that knowing where he is would actually help in the immediate future, but it would put him at ease.
action;
"You should tell me your name first," she says. "Because it would be weird to go to the medbay with someone I don't know."
See? Knowing his name will totally fix everything.
"Useful?" She's not here because it's useful, that's for sure.
action;
"To judge if we were nearby other known civilizations, whether friendly or hostile," he explains. "Instead we must judge for ourselves." He shrugs, as if the concept doesn't bother him overly much.
action;
"Oh, that makes sense. There's apparently a lot of different people out there." If the people who showed up in Proles were anything to judge by. "Guess we'll just have to go by Nick's law instead."
action;
And he raises an eyebrow, not familiar with the term. "And which law might that be?"
action;
"Which is really true, don't you think? Shooting is never friendly. Punching is sometimes, though." And she was always a big believer in the friendly headbutt.
action;
He bites back a smile - he's only allowed to punch Thor or Captain America, at least if one is talking about the friendly method.
action;
Oh man, punching either of them would be so cool!

Re: action;
He touches the site of the augment implant. "I seem to have engineering responsibilities." Not that that will stop him from protecting anyone. "But perhaps you will find your physical limitations negated in zero-gravity, or that security on a ship means primarily sitting at a chair and using an interface to fire weapons."
Re: action;
"I've never fought in null-G, so that could be really fun. It could work." Then she makes a face. "Hopefully I don't have to shoot things much. I always sucked at shooting."
action;
"Nor have I, though I am familiar with the theory. Perhaps there will be an opportunity to practice together?"
Re: action;
But anyway. All that told together to make the Vision. "But I think it's normal to have lots of different influences," she says, after a moment of consideration. "So what kind of person has that made you?"
Practice, though, that sounds fun. "Oh, yeah! That would be great! I might stuck at shooting but I teach it okay. And I haven't tried much since my eye got replaced so maybe that will make a difference too."
action;
'Normal' isn't a word he would use to describe himself, though. "I hope it has made me a good person," he says with a thoughtful expression. "I have a very great respect for all forms of life, and I will fight to preserve it whenever I can." Even if that means fighting against other forms of life to prevent greater destruction.
He looks closely at her and reaches out with his extra senses, then raises his eyebrows in surprise at the amount of technology she has in there. "It looks very realistic," he admits, referring to her eye. "Does it have increased capabilities?"
action;
"Hoping you're a good person is like the most important step to being a good person. Because it's not easy and you have to work hard and have a good mission. And sometimes missions only seem good, but they're actually immoral and you have to be able to tell." So sounds like he's on the right path to her. "Sounds like you've got a really good mission though. But a tough one, since people like shooting at each other."
"Oh yeah. I got military grade replacements since they hadn't decided to turf me yet when they got installed. So the eye records things, and has a good zoom, a laser range finder, and I think it's supposed to have a target reticle but I've never used it and have to remember how to make it come up."
action;
"Yes, it can be very difficult to tell at times. I believe it's important to consider all aspects of a situation; even so, it has been clear-cut for me so far." Preventing Ultron from dropping a city from orbit is kind of a no-brainer.
"That is useful." There are vague memories from JARVIS about Tony Stark's HUD, and it sounds like she has much of that built-in now. "It could be especially convenient here, as perspective can be difficult in space."
action;
She nods. "Good point. I've never been in space, so I don't know how different it'll be. It's really exciting to try something new!"
action;
That gets another smile. He likes her enthusiasm. "Good luck to both of us, then. I hope we won't need it."
action;
"Well, hopefully not. I'm supposed to want things to be boring as shit now so I don't hurt myself." Fie on doctors.
