Who: Morgana and YOU!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: HMS Marsiva hospitality deck
When: 6/13
[action]
[Morgana can't remember falling asleep, but when she wakes, she thinks it's into a dream: this isn't her bed, this isn't her room, this certainly isn't Camelot. Panic makes her leap from the cot, skirts tangling under her legs. It's not until she takes several steps away from the bed that she realizes she isn't limping. When she tests her weight on her left leg, there's no pain, and when she yanks up her skirts to stare at her calf, there's no sign at all of the damage the serket's sting did.
Magic.
Eyes wide, Morgana turns to exploring: fear has clawed at her these past few days, but she can't sit and wait to be told what is going on. But there isn't much to explore, and the more she sees, the more afraid she is. When she comes to a stop in front of the windows - they must be windows, but what she's seeing, what she knows she's seeing, doesn't make sense - Morgana wraps her arms around herself and stares at the stars, waiting for them - and her place among them - to make proper sense.]
Where are you, Arthur?
[Later, after she heads back to her cot and finds her communicator, Morgana manages to turn on the video function. She's not entirely sure where to look, though, so welcome to a terribly shot challenge.]
I am the lady Morgana, and I demand to know who is responsible for bringing us here. I warn you, when King Uther discovers what you've done - he won't show mercy.
[She's putting on a brave face and throwing out all the false bravado she has, but there's something brittle in her voice at the end. It was only yesterday she saw how little mercy Uther had to spare, after all.]

My appearance sets me apart enough that I find no reason to conceal my other abilities. I am different. It would do little good to pretend otherwise.

(And the idea that maybe he's from the future is entirely too bizarre to deal with right now.)
There is something in her that stirs at his words - he is different, and he doesn't have to pretend, and wouldn't that be sweet? - but she doesn't have the words for a response. She's barely accepted that she has magic.]
You were...always this way?
no subject
Yes. Since the moment of my awakening.
[The shadowy memories of before, both from Ultron's programming and from JARVIS's as well as the unique consciousness of the Mind Stone, were most certainly influences on him--but his first moment of self-awareness had come with a rather extreme reaction, and he smiles to remember it.]
I will confess I have had a good friend and role model since then, who has always accepted me as I am. It's made my place among friends much easier to define.

Then you are very fortunate, [she confesses quietly,] To have someone like that.

So he nods.] Yes, and I have been grateful for it. And it would be unkind of me not to repay the favor. If there is anything I can help you with in regards to our current situation, I would be glad to.
