Who: Morgana and YOU!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: HMS Marsiva hospitality deck
When: 6/13
[action]
[Morgana can't remember falling asleep, but when she wakes, she thinks it's into a dream: this isn't her bed, this isn't her room, this certainly isn't Camelot. Panic makes her leap from the cot, skirts tangling under her legs. It's not until she takes several steps away from the bed that she realizes she isn't limping. When she tests her weight on her left leg, there's no pain, and when she yanks up her skirts to stare at her calf, there's no sign at all of the damage the serket's sting did.
Magic.
Eyes wide, Morgana turns to exploring: fear has clawed at her these past few days, but she can't sit and wait to be told what is going on. But there isn't much to explore, and the more she sees, the more afraid she is. When she comes to a stop in front of the windows - they must be windows, but what she's seeing, what she knows she's seeing, doesn't make sense - Morgana wraps her arms around herself and stares at the stars, waiting for them - and her place among them - to make proper sense.]
Where are you, Arthur?
[Later, after she heads back to her cot and finds her communicator, Morgana manages to turn on the video function. She's not entirely sure where to look, though, so welcome to a terribly shot challenge.]
I am the lady Morgana, and I demand to know who is responsible for bringing us here. I warn you, when King Uther discovers what you've done - he won't show mercy.
[She's putting on a brave face and throwing out all the false bravado she has, but there's something brittle in her voice at the end. It was only yesterday she saw how little mercy Uther had to spare, after all.]

I'm sure you've heard the spiel enough from the others by now, right?

I don't suppose you have any hope to offer?
no subject
Sure. Be glad they didn't take your memory away, too. That was my last experience with a place like this.

[ Which is worse than memoryloss for her, maybe. But. ]

[wow this is a nightmare, can she wake up now]

[ She shrugs slightly, making a bit of a face. Since it's not like she agrees with this place, but compared to the Black Woods it's kind of. A step up. Since she's not being forced to play in really stupid games to regain memories. ] It's more like unless you're thinking about it you probably won't even notice they're there. It's annoying, but you can do whatever you want.

[She was so afraid, when she first started thinking she had magic: she was terrified that someone would look at her and just - see it there, like she'd suddenly been branded for all the world to see. And now someone, somewhere, will be watching her all the time - she'll never stop feeling that brand.]

[ It's said a little heavily. But it's not untruthful, really, and she understands wanting peace and quiet and people to leave them alone but. ]
The place I was at before was all about testing you and changing things up to see how you'd react. I mean, the worst you get here is knowing they're watching. It's not like they're suddenly give you a telepathic bond with someone else or broadcasting your memories. They wait for you to do that yourself.
And my life before this was full of people barging in or watching me when I wouldn't want them to anyway, so it's not much different. You just have to learn not to give a damn what anyone else thinks and blow them up if they say a word.
[ Except maybe the last part is joking-- mostly. ]

But she doesn't exactly go about assuming everyone she meets has magic, so Morgana manages to choke out a laugh.]
I was under the impression anyone who might say anything isn't reachable.

Oh, they'll talk at us, but they won't answer anything we ask. That's for sure.
