[ACTION AND VIDEO]

[For whatever reason, it's eerily quiet, and the sound of two bare feet hitting the metal floor of the hospitality deck can be heard. (it's really for dramatic effect, who are we kidding) The owner, a small girl of fourteen, stares into space (ha!) as she takes a few slow, deliberate steps. After a moment, she crouches down and places her hand on the floor, pauses, then speaks. Or yells. Whatever.]

Hey!! Someone tell me what's going on! This isn't another weirdo spirit thing is it? I'd hit my quota for the month already!

[She huffs in annoyance, straightening up. Now she's quieter, talking more to herself.] What's with this weird place?

Heh. [Oh, Aang.] No really, what's your favorite thing about the holo-dohicky?

Well... I was able to get it to show me places from home. Like... the air temple.

It was really nice.

[Awww baby.] Yeah, it sounds like it! I know I was a fan of the western one when we were there.

That one's really great, isn't it? I hope you get to see the rest someday... and see how really great they are!

R-right! Don't worry, Toph... the air temples are made out of really nice stone! So I'm sure you'll get your own kinds of interesting sights there too!

Maybe I'll find some hidden rooms or something cool like that! [She laughs at the idea, a grin on her face.]

Ooh! I wouldn't put it past you, Toph! I'm really interested in seeing what you can find. We can always use more secret rooms!

[There is some hope in his words and on his face. If there's hidden rooms, maybe there's more artifacts and writings there that weren't destroyed by the Fire Nation. Just more reasons to be greatful to have Toph as a friend.]

You can try to have secret rooms. It won't take me long to make them unsecret.

[Toph laughs.] Oh! That reminds me, is Momo with you?

[Now he frowns.]

N-no, Momo's back home. ...

And... Appa too.....

[bolder]

Oh. [She sounds a little sad, too.] Sorry, Aang. But it's probably good this way. I doubt Appa would like his assigned sleeping quarters much.

[She's trying to help.]

R-right. I know. It wouldn't be right for them to be cooped up in here. Both of them... they need to be free. [So does he, but the air nomad won't voice that.]

[Toph snorts. She knows him well enough to know what he's not saying.]

Appa would barely fit, and Momo would go stir crazy. You've got us to concentrate on.

R-right. And they probably don't know how to spacebend...

I am really, really glad I have you guys with me.

What does that even mean, anyway? [Toph sniffs, sort of dismissively.] Yeah, I'm glad you're here, too.

Well I never met a spacebender, but I guess it would mean being able to walk or fly in outer space and be alright!

That's just dumb. Not even the Avatar can do that. [She waves a hand.] Yeah, yeah. You're welcome.

I know, but... we're in space now. Anything should be possible now, right?

Maybe for people from other places. Not for us.

Well... Yeah, I guess that's right.

But I'll keep my eyes open just in case there's a spacebending master somewhere out there!
