So. Last night as a teenager.

[She takes a sip of soda, and pauses for a second, wondering if she's about to burp.

False alarm.] What kind of reckless, immature shenanigans should I get up to before the big 2-0 gets here?

[She turns up R. Kelly, and starts singing along as she waits for a reply. What a jammin' birthday.]

Yeah. He gave me a whole bottle of [questionable] wine.

Wow! That was rather nice of him.

[Adachi did not know what was more surprising... that Crowley had a full bottle of wine he hadn't touched, or that he was willing to give it to someone. He was supposed to be a demon after all. This all seemed a little too kind considering.]

Yeah, he's kind of like a vaguely evil drunk uncle. I like him.

[What follows was probably one of the most genuine, benevolent laughs of Adachi's life. "An evil drunk uncle" that was too good. He'd have to remember that one.]

I think he'd probably take that as a compliment.
