Okay, so. Uh. Hi.

I assume there's a bunch of people on the other end of this? Otherwise I'm going to look stupid talking to a screen, but... Whatever. I'm in space. I know guys back home that would kill for the chance to be kidnapped and held for entertainment on a creepy space station. I'm... Wait, hang on, let me see if I care.

[she looks elsewhere for a moment, lips pressing into a thin line, before...]

Nope. I don't care. Almost did, for a minute, and then I remembered how much this sucks.

[she gestures... vaguely.] Okay, so this is turning into a pretty bad introduction, but I guess I just wanted to say, uh, hello, I'm Krista, and I'd love to talk to someone... about... how we're all stuck here up in space? Unless there's something way better to talk about. I don't know. Whatever. I'm really bad at this.

[of course, anyone who is on the Marsiva is welcome to find her! she's just standing around one of the network panels, looking annoyed, maybe a little nervous. kind of fidgety.]

Thank you, it's a warriors wolf tail. I'm from the Southern Water Tribe. [A pause, because, oh yeah, different worlds.] That's in the South Pole.

Oh, I know what the South Pole is. Ice and penguins and stuff.

[she kind of doubts that he's from her Earth, but hey! she seems genuinely interested anyway C:]

So, you have a South Pole where you come form, too?

[Actually, that makes sense. Poles are important for planets to survive.]

I know right? [There's an awkward pause here, because 'almost extinct' is probably not right the tone to set.]

We're kinda small, but we're feisty! We were attacked a lot by the Fire Nation, but we're still standing and fighting. My dad made sure of that, he's our chief. [He hero worship is strong in this one, Katara would no doubt have a different viewpoint on such matters.]

The son of a chief, huh? That sounds pretty great.

[it might be because he's starting to sound like something out of an old movie, but it's the... comment that counts?]

I think my South Pole is just filled with penguins and polar bears and stuff.

It is. I had to take care of the whole tribe while he was fighting. Well, until I had a greater calling, but I made sure all the young warriors of the tribe were trained and ready for anything.

[Technically not a lie, he'll just leave out the part where none of the 'young warriors' were over the age of six.]

Just...regular polar bears? Weird.

Well. [she... changes her mind halfway through whatever thought she had going.] Yep. Just regular polar bears.

So, Chief Jr., how's space been treating you? [yes flawless subject change.]

Well, Little Miss Subject Change, I guess it's okay. I'd rather be back home, though. I got important stuff to deal with.

[He needs to keep Toph from falling to her death, he's got to find Suki, he's got his part in the battle to finish.]

Ouch... [okay, not so smooth...] Man, me too. This whole other-worlds journey has really been putting a cramp in studying.

I'm in the middle of a battle trying to keep my blind best friend from falling to a horrible, messy death while we're being surrounded by enemy soldiers on all sides.
