[ target cannot be resurrected. ]

Who: Belthazar and whoever
Broadcast: Yes, the first part.
Action: The bug ship, and the Bishop when he returns.
When: RIGHT NOW.

[Technically he shouldn't be on the ship, but he isn't going too far. By the door he's set up a little shrine of white candles. He kneels down and lights them with a simple gesture. Belthazar's sleeves still have some rips and tears in them from fighting the bugs, but at least they're clean.

A moment of rustling, and he leaves a small offering of white flowers symbolizing sympathy and grief. Thanks, Ino.]

Elor bindel felallan morin'aminor.

[He isn't sure what else to say.]

I am... sorry.

[SS Bishop;]

[Anyone seeking out the tiny elfling later will find him freshly-showered and seated in the kitchen. He's made something a little more traditional this time-- breaded chicken, dairy-free gravy, and mashed potatoes. There's plenty for the crew. In the meantime, he's eating and reading at the same time.

Looks to be some kind of trashy fantasy novel. A Melody of Frost and Flame? Belthazar, you can do better.]

[Wanda peers over his shoulder as he writes. Curious, interested in seeing the characters he'll transcribe onto the blank page.]
notmutantbutmiracle: (What is this?)

No worries!

[Wanda surveys the page of symbols with a noticeable look of wonder on her face. It was hard not to find these things fascinating: artifacts, runes, really anything from other worlds, other universes even. While Baron Strucker had amassed a somewhat gigantic collection of salvage from the Chitauri's attack on New York, Wanda had always found it all rather creepy and foreboding. These symbols, or characters, rather and their strange pronunciation seemed far less sinister. In fact, they were rather beautiful, despite their arguably grim connotation.]

Ea-lore... bind-el... fela-lan... mor-in-amin-or?

[Her eastern European accent clearly on display as she attempts to pronounce the words herself.]
notmutantbutmiracle: (I can read him...)

[Wanda shakes her head, a weak smile on her face. Despite the quip about her accent, she recognizes that it does somewhat impede her ability to speak the language.]

I shall have to practice some more.

[She turns to look back at the small shrine.]

May I ask... was this your idea?

[Wanda's smile gets a bit warmer as she catches the young man's reaction to her question, she continues to look at the shrine he constructed. The expression on her face begins to mirror the thoughts and emotions that her mind becomes awash in, as she contemplates the events that transpired aboard this ship and her own part in them. Her only words are a brief murmur, both a response to her companions words and an echo of her own feelings towards the shrine.]

It is beautiful.
notmutantbutmiracle: (Muted response)

[Wanda doesn't respond at first. Instead, she simply nods her head, letting a brief moment of silence fall over them. She doesn't take her eyes away from the shrine when she speaks up again.]

Though we did not get to know what these creatures were like before all this madness, I am sure that they would have appreciated this gesture.
