I think it might, at least, for awhile yet. I was there for a number of years, and it had been standing for far longer before I arrived.

How long have you been with the Fleet, Miss Elena?

Not very long. Only about two months. It's the only place I've been though aside from home.

You shall have quite a few stories then whenever you do return home. Assuming you remember, of course.

[She's not sure if she'd ever tell them though. It'd be easy for people to think she was crazy back home.]

Do people not remember when they go back?

Well, in Paradisa, sometimes they would go home and they would come back and remember and sometimes they would not. Our general theory was that they did not, and I would think it might be the same here.

It would make sense this place can do that, too, if they're putting augments into our heads. Someone told me they can screw around with our memories, too.

Paradisa was... all reaching, and I honestly believe nearly all powerful. I would not think myself far reaching in saying that Atroma is very nearly the same.

It's a really unnerving thought to think we're in the hands of something like that.

I cannot say I like it, but I can say that I am rather used to it. I do not know which disturbs me more.

But I do know that whatever happens, those of us on this ship shall look out for each other. So never fear, Miss Elena.

That's good to hear. The crew around here seems to be constantly changing. I'm hoping you'll stick around longer than just exchanging names.
