[All things told, Caesar does not spend a lot of time on introspection when he arrives on the Marsiva. He takes a few moments to look at the stars - astonishingly bright and close, almost frighteningly so, when you're used to cities, or being too busy to look up and see the space that God made - and then looks away. For fear of being overwhelmed, maybe, or because he has other things to do.]

[Though he can't begin to imagine what they are. What do you do after you've died?]

[When he figures out how to access the network, he doesn't hesitate at all. Hesitating means thinking, and if he thinks too much about this his voice will come out weak, lost, confused. He is a Zeppeli; that would be unforgivable.]

[So it comes out strong, full, his syllables well-rounded and imbued with good humor.]

Buongiorno, all, I - seem to have taken a wrong turn somewhere around Mars. I don't suppose anyone has a map?

[He chuckles briefly, then sombers. There's information in his head that he doesn't know the source of, but he can guess.]

There are many people trapped here. I know that much already. I know what is happening. What I don't understand is why.

[Oof. He bends his knees a little, because Joseph's stupid swole arm is heavy, and makes a face.]

If you spent less time looking at my ass, idiota, you'd probably have a girlfriend by now.

[Joseph's brow furrows and he just grinds his elbow more right into Caesar's shoulder.]

[That hurts, but this is hilarious? Should he continue? Yes, he definitely should.]

[He grinds his elbow a little.]

[He is going to start shoving you in the side, though, because he's pretty sure his shoulder's breaking.]

[Joseph ignores the first couple of shoves, but he lets Caesar push him off eventually.]

Well, I'm not looking again to check because I don't care.

[His laugh is bright and cheerful, his grin wide as he starts free but doesn't move more than a few feet away.]

[He barely has any idea what he's saying at this point, a little giddy with the high of life and Joseph and fighting like usual. So he's a little smug. So what. He deserves it, he thinks - they both do.]

[Joseph grabs Caesar by the shoulders and turns him around (while pointedly looking towards the ceiling), pushing him along.]

Just get walking. This deck is huge and who knows how long it'll take us to find the controls.

[Caesar makes an unhappy noise at being manhandled (although really, what does he expect at this point) and deliberately digs his heels in and leans back against Joseph's hands to slow him down.]

We could be here forever. What's your hurry?

[He keeps pushing, but he does lean over Caesar's shoulder to look at him.]

We're on a spaceship that I could fly and you want to know what my hurry is. Is that really what you just said?

[Leaning his head back on Joseph's shoulder, he laughs again, low and lazy.]

You're such a little boy, Jojo.

[But he's not mad about it. He'll pick up his feet a little.]
