Fuck. This isn't how I wanted my first off-planet-planet-drop to go! [ He looks mildly angry and disappointed but also there's some kind of vibrating energy to him. ] There's a beach?

I'm so sorry I've ruined your dramatic speech with this information. [She sounds almost fake apologetic.]

I'll make it up to you by saying, yes there is a beach. It's a big one with a great view.

It's what you'd expect to find on an island. Bright colors, lots of trinkets, and not much technology. There's a pretty good variety. I've been trading and negotiating for things, since they use certain shells for currency.

Don't know much about what you'd find on islands. Didn't make it to many. Shells, though?

Yeah, apparently universal currency only goes so far. Imagine that. [She gives a half smile.] Well, there's a lot of algae out here, so it looks like they're able to make dyes out of that. Sort of explains the brightness in a lot of the stuff.

Just how far out are we? Must be pretty out of the damn way if universal currency doesn't work.

[ He grunts, but it's hard to hide that energy he has at the idea of visiting not only another planet, but one with the sorts of places he barely knows. ]

Algae dye? That would only make so many colors. Could be hideous.

It sounds like it'd be good for you to socialize with other people. [She sounds amused at the idea.]

Each ship should have a shuttle. You can pilot that to go down there.
