003 - Is it agare-dot-eeo or agar-eoh?
Who: Crowley and you!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: On the Pathstone
When: Right meow.
[Crowley is sitting at his console with that dreaded shit-eating grin across his face. Flooters might suddenly find their communicators flashing. Obnoxiously. The flashing thing happens to be a little dot. Perhaps you should touch the dot..]
It has come to my attention that I haven't been doing my job properly. [A dead eyed look at the camera for a second. HE'S TALKING ABOUT YOU, TEK, YOU DID THIS.] So I decided to create a little treat for all of you. It's a little game, that you can play by yourself or in teams.
[The little dot does, indeed, open up a game, where the objective is to eat other dots and get bigger as you go along. Some of the dots are computer generated, but most are, indeed, other players on the Fleet. Crowley doesn't do acts of random charity, though. Like the games he made for CastleNet back in Paradisa, it's horribly addictive. ]
All other comms officer should take note, really. How much of my job I'm doing.
Knock yourself out, kids.

[She sneers teasingly at him before actually attempting to play the game.
Which lasts all of about 45 seconds.]
... I got eaten by Chuck Norris. That bastard.
No one can defeat Chuck Norris. It's just how the world works.

[he points at the screen.]
What's this?
no subject
That's a game.

because two can play at this game.]
Goodness, it's really quite nice of you to build something to keep everyone entertained. Not many would take time out to make something so thoughtful, you know? I bet they'll all love it.
no subject
No. It's something to annoy them. I didn't do it to be nice.
no subject
You don't see how nice this is? It gets so boring out here. Now they can just log into this whenever they want, to play and just--
Oh... [he leans a little closer, looking at the screen.] They're not playing with their fellow fleetmates, are they?
Because then you would be getting us all to play with each other as well. Goodness, someone might just bond over this.
no subject
No. You're not getting it at all. Stop ruining it.

maybe not well, but he can do it.]
--Hey! That's not fair. How do they keep splitting like that?
