[Shortly after being appointed, Cory is pacing around the front of the ship, not noticing others nearby as he seems to be rehearing to himself.]

'Hello crew, this is your captain speaking...' [He pauses and shakes his head.] Nope. Not even I buy it! Why me...?

[Well, Huntress, whatever you expected from your new members, it probably wasn't a small catgirl in pure white plate armor, who is immediately pulling a shield off her back and looking around for threats.]

You responsible, speak now.

You are the captain?

[That word gets Miah's attention as she appears, and now she's sizing him up in a calculating way- Even if the implant gives her the knowledge, it doesn't suppress her instincts, and being forcibly teleported sets her on edge. She's automatically examining Cory, determining if he's a threat.]

[He spins around abruptly as he hears that. There is a tiny cat(?)girl who is staring into his soul. Cory looks unsure.]

Um... Right. Yeah, that'd be me! Captain... Cory Matthews, at your service... Miss?

[... She's aware of people who can lead without being fighters themselves- Minfillia is an excellent example. But this guy seems way too nervous to possibly be a leader.]

That's because... well, I've never really captainned before. I don't know if I have the 'air' for it. I'm actually a history teacher, y'know.

There is. This one's a lot bigger than some of them, the Paisley was much smaller.

It's not a bad name, but I don't think anyone who's been on it are actual hunters. I think.
