[ The video flicks on to a spacious room, spans it from left to right, then top to bottom. There's a door off to the right side, and the camera follows it to the adjoining room, similarly large. Again, left to right, top to bottom. Both rooms are spic and span, empty, with wooden floors. And then it switches to audio. The voice is brusque, but amiable, with a moderate Brooklyn drawl. ]
Nice place for a gym. There could be a dojo next door, so it's all in one place. I've got a few sandbags to hang up, and some mats we could use. There's a notice outside for schedules — I know a lot of you folks have been offering training. The room's big enough, and there's plenty more like it on this ship.
Anybody else interested?
[ Anyone wandering the Iskaulit or looking for Bucky after the broadcast will find him humming as he puts up the sandbags. He's dressed very simply in the ship's jumpsuit, with no left sleeve. The left arm whirs in tune as he works. ]

Had the same plan. Also to use it for meditation and to help set up areas for religious practice, since there are so many different ones practiced here.

[ aaand bam, he is, carrying some wood to make a table. There's no guns, just his usual knives on his person. If Orion really wanted to hurt him, he would've done it a long time ago. ]

[The gun, of course, is just part of his job. He's security, after all.
[When he sees Jim, he still freezes up a little bit, though it hardly shows. He gets over it fast enough.]
... Didn't take long.

[ And there's only so long you can spend knocking on your crew's bunks checking on them. Space is empty, and kind of lonely, if you get right down to it. ]
[ His eyes linger on the gun, then the shared metal of the arm, and then down to the wood. ]

[He holds still, allowing for Jim to come over and take some of the load.]

[as for how he's been: nervous, anxious, sleep-deprived because of strange dreams involving jim by a different name.]

[ Why is it he can't even make conversation? He used to be better at this. ]
So uh. How's the adjustment to the new name?
[ nailed it. ]

[but he knows it's not that hard to go from a title to a name. jim... he's doing something else entirely.]

For taste? Whiskey. Neither one does much of anything for me in the long run, though.
