[Stefan promised Allen that he would scout the Iskaulit for potential locations for an interfaith space. The formal name would come later, should he think up something catchier... While he's poking around the entire ship, he finally settles upon a moderately-sized room (with a few springline windows on one side and a wooden floor) towards the back of the ship.

He'll be in the room for a while, trying to guess measurements and sketch ideas for how this space could best work. Around the time he settles in, he switches the feed on:]

There's a lot of great stuff happening right now - makes this feel more like a community. Which is kind of why I'm wondering, would anyone else be interested in an interfaith space?

[He moves the camera so that everyone can see the space clearer.] Back home, I did interfaith ministry. No matter what you practiced or who you believed in - or who you didn't - these prayer rooms would be sacred spaces for you to stop and take a moment to reflect. Prayers, meditation, even just a cup of tea or a chat with a religious counselor... I'd like to make all of that happen here.

But... to do that, I'll need your support. If you're interested in helping me, or in just using the space, let me know. Just tell me about your faith, or your spirituality, and what you'd need, and I'll try my best to make it happen.

[He smiles. Just the thought that this man is trying to recreate that comfort from home for people is enough to be glad for.]

What is a chaplain?

A chaplain's, uh.... [Good question. How would he explain this to someone whose world seems pretty different from his own? His tone turns as reassuring as possible:] A chaplain's a religious leader who helps with people's religious or spiritual needs outside of places like churches and temples.

No matter what you believe, I'm here to help and make it as easy as possible. [Even if that means he'll have to bicker with Atroma about it the whole time.]

[He gives a small smile.]

There are some who would condemn other faiths for blasphemy. But my mother and father believe in different sets of gods. They were wed beneath the Heart Tree, but she still prays to the Seven.

You know, my parents didn't share the same faith either. [He returns the smile, looking almost wistful at the memories.] Dad "converted" to Mom's religion, but he didn't formally believe in it for years.

So we celebrated his holidays too, or at least the parts of it we could. I think... that's why I can't condemn other religions, because my parents took two decades to agree on one.

[It's a nice story. Hearing about other people's parents makes Bran miss his own horribly, but he smiles at Stefan anyway.]

What faiths do you have in your world?

[Oh. Good question... and one he's going to oversimplify, because he could spend a whole year talking about this.]

There's a lot of them, and I could spend hours on that alone, but uh, the big ones are Christianity and Islam. [At 32% and 23% respectively, last he checked!] They only believe in one God, but the details are different. My dad was Christian, see, but my Mom? She practiced Islam.

[His siblings are Muslim as well, though it's a story for another time.]
