[Stefan promised Allen that he would scout the Iskaulit for potential locations for an interfaith space. The formal name would come later, should he think up something catchier... While he's poking around the entire ship, he finally settles upon a moderately-sized room (with a few springline windows on one side and a wooden floor) towards the back of the ship.

He'll be in the room for a while, trying to guess measurements and sketch ideas for how this space could best work. Around the time he settles in, he switches the feed on:]

There's a lot of great stuff happening right now - makes this feel more like a community. Which is kind of why I'm wondering, would anyone else be interested in an interfaith space?

[He moves the camera so that everyone can see the space clearer.] Back home, I did interfaith ministry. No matter what you practiced or who you believed in - or who you didn't - these prayer rooms would be sacred spaces for you to stop and take a moment to reflect. Prayers, meditation, even just a cup of tea or a chat with a religious counselor... I'd like to make all of that happen here.

But... to do that, I'll need your support. If you're interested in helping me, or in just using the space, let me know. Just tell me about your faith, or your spirituality, and what you'd need, and I'll try my best to make it happen.

[its pretty cute, actually.] Yeah well when you can turn into anything or anyone at the drop of a hat, two clear career goals come into mind. And I ain't as much into the first option, personally. I never did many murders, left that to the cops. Naw, mostly just philandering husbands and corperate espionage.

Don't know much about cheating husbands, but people always seem to need detectives. Or people who're good at finding crap. [He's not speaking from experience, of course not.]

What exactly is your augment, anyways? If you're okay with me asking?

Yeah, not a problem at all. I'm piloting one of these ships, actually. Knew how to do that before, though, all they did was dump a bunch of knowledge about this particular model in my head. Guess it took out the learning curve.

It evens out the playing field too. I'm technically a medic, but without my augment, I'd be almost useless.

Healing people, I can do. Healing people with technology long after my time? Nnnot so much.

What system do you come from, anyway? I guess I should ask what time, too, since I been hearing that can vary a lot around here.

Like a lot of people here, I'm from Earth. Think we call our system the Milky Way? [In other words, he's clueless.]

The year, though, was 2016. June, if we're gonna be exact.

Yeah, I've been to that place a few times. My friend the Doc was a big fan. Nice place, liked the South Pole.

Far as I can line it up, I'm from around the same time a few galaxies over.

[The more he hears about Doc, the more he wonders about that man (alien's?) taste in things...

But if they're from the same time, he might as well ask:] Kind of unrelated, but did you hear anything about an invasion that year? I don't know which system they came from, but... last year, a huge group tried to invade Earth.

Almost succeeded too, if a bunch of people hadn't intervened.

If I can be honest with you, pal? You guys have been invaded so many times I can't keep track. Usually the Doc stops it before it becomes too widely known, but I still seen more than a few empires try 'in get a piece of you lot. You got too many untapped resources and all that shit.

Who was it this time, though? Cybermen? Daleks? Vogons? I know those idiots have been trying to put a hyperspace bypass through your galaxy for a few decades.

[There is an unnaturally long silence while he tries to process this....]

None of the above, actually. I think they were called [the invaders - he never got a IC name].

Good to know, though. No matter the universe, someone still wants a piece of us.

That's life though ain't it, pal? You got something people want, they're gonna find a way to get their hands on it. And going through the legitimate means ain't everyone's first idea.

My Earth got invaded and partially destroyed, but a lot of people's Earths didn't. If that's the case, then... they've got us from different universes as well as galaxies and points in time, right?

I'm pretty close to giving up myself. I don't drink, but sometimes when I'm listening to people's stories? I kinda wish I did.

Seems to swing in either direction. Either nothing's happening at all, or everything at once.

Never in-between, yeah. I get that it's for ratings' sake, but a little advance notice never hurt anyone.
