[He can be found out by the stables, getting as close to the horses as he can in his chair, without rolling over their feet. He wishes so hard that he could just climb up and ride one - almost as much as he wishes he could shift into his wolf's skin, and run with the strange fox-dogs out in the desert sand. Today is not a very happy day.]

I didn't enjoy it, but it was still a bad thing.

Is a bad thing still as bad if you didn't like it?

[HM... Vima thinks back to her mother's reluctance to take up Jedi-ing, particularly the bit that involves lightsabers. That's a little tricky because Vima was like, four.]

No, it's not as bad. Not good, but there's a difference between picking up a weapon to protect someone else, and picking it up because you want to use it.

Oh. I understand. If I'd used the guns just because I was excited about using a weapon, and there was no one attacking, that would have been bad?
