003. ☾ Bite-marks and Bloodstains { Accidental Video / Action }
Who: Cecil, some space bandits, and you!
Broadcast: UH. Yes?? Open?? Y-You'll see.
Action: A way-station!
When: November 26th
Tonight if the fleet happens to check the network at a certain, unspecified time, they will likely be 'treated' to a rather... disturbing video.
At first, it's hard to tell what the video is actually capturing. The camera is shaky, unclear, flashing in and out of states of light and dark, and even the sound is terribly muffled, as though someone is rubbing fabric against the microphone over and over again. In fact, after a bit, as the noises grow more distinct, it becomes clear that that is in fact exactly what's going on, but the telltale sounds of a struggle occurring imply that it might not be intentional. Shouting and yelling can be heard and at least one of them sounds female, possibly a specifically familiar female even.
Then, suddenly, there's a loud bang like a gunshot going off, followed by a few more in rapid succession, then the camera careens again and clatters to the floor where it simply lies still. Finally, the picture shows something worth seeing-- several pairs of legs and feet moving fast in the area, for one thing. Unfortunately, there's also blood splattered on the floor and a couple wounded, rough-looking individuals attempting to stagger back up to their feet, some of them carrying weapons.
The sound of blows landing can be picked up, along with grunting and pained gasps. One of the figures drops to their knees briefly before falling to the floor. It's a woman-- Cecil, pale and a little bruised and bloodied, but out cold. There's angry muttering and someone kicks her even while she's unconscious, before a pair of boots approaches the camera.
There's a loud crack and the feed abruptly cuts off.
( ooc ; Basically, a focused mingle. The crew of the Wonderduck will probably be tagging around, sooo... if you have questions or something, drop me a PM or a note somewhere! )

Whoooa, hey! Did anyone else catch that? What's going on?

You wouldn't happen to know the coordinates of that waystation, would you?

[he sighs... a little tense.]
I'll play it back, though, see if I can get anything.
