[Hello, Flooters. There's someone very decidedly alien blinking into the feed, mumbling to himself.]

[Those words were deliberate, these next ones are a bit more rapid-fire. He seems a little...distracted, kind of manic.]

Curious about implants. Is there a clinic? Doctor, professor, comfortable behind lab bench. Would also like samples from other captives. Where are you from? What races are present? So much data, too many variables to account for via video transmission. Need to study, research. Too many variables, need hard data.

There's clinics on the smaller ships, if you have a lab assistant aboard.

Curious. No central hub? Every ship have clinic?

Not every ship. Not every one had a lab assistant.

But no, no real central hub. No one really has the resources to build one.

I see. Curious, problem. Needs solution. Unless...

If illness is prevented. Implants made on arrivals on large ships, could inoculate against illness. Still does not account for injuries. Incorrect hypothesis. Disregard.

Injuries still happens. Illness sometimes too, but the implants in theory help with that some.

Hypothesis not entirely incorrect. Curious. Can implant be removed?

Hmm. No lingering aftereffects, no memory of procedure to implant. Likely used a memory-altering anesthetic. Salarian metabolism problematic for hypothesis. Do other races experience recovery time from implant?

Not...that I know about. But no one really knows what happens before people wake up on the Marsiva.

I am from... ... Tyria! and I am a Sylvari. So far, I am the only Sylvari here, so I will not be surprised if you are confused. [ By what a Sylvari is, other than "clearly made of plants". ]

As Allen said, there's currently no central clinic. I've discussed making one on the Iskaulit- that's the big ship following along with the Fleet- but we lack sufficient income, supplies, and staff to handle the load.

If there are plans, will follow lead. Can offer assistance- have established clinic with limited resources before. Particularly enjoyed challenge. Additionally, salarian metabolism requires less rest. Can work additional hours if coverage is concern. Will defer to experienced doctors, but can offer experience and time.

Sylvari, not familiar. New race, first contact. Would like to examine, study.

Looks like Dr. Keller and Allen've told you about the lack of a clinic. If you're up for the challenge, I wouldn't mind helping out.

There's space on the Iskaulit, so I'd check that out and see if you like the space they've thought about. As for me, I'm from Earth, and I'm human.

Harmless. Tissue samples. Would like to test, examine cell structure. Small samples, can grow in lab to have large enough samples for data gathering. Mostly painless, small clipping of live tissue and shed tissue.

I... don't really get it. I shed my clothes all the time, but not much else? Is that good? [ At 'clothes', he tugs at the thin leaf - almost like a long blade of grass - that wraps loosely about his neck. ]

Dr. Beverly Crusher, SS Blue Fish. Allen and I run the clinic on that ship, but I see others have already told you we do not have one central clinic for the whole fleet. However, I am willing to coordinate with others to set up and operate one. In fact, I have already started growing medicinal plants to help supplement our limited supplies.

As to your other question, I am human, from... well, technically Earth is my home planet, though I only lived there for a few years. Most of my life has been spent on a Starship. You'll find humans are the majority here - why, I don't know - but there are several other species in the fleet. Moreover, most of us are not from the same universe, so even among the humans, there are a great deal of cultural and even physiological differences.

Well, you seem rather... excited.

[Okay, maybe excited isn't the RIGHT word. But seeing as among this guy's first questions after waking up in a strange place is asking for samples? Vash has already decided to maybe try avoiding this guy in person for a bit.

Wow. [ She knows about sci-fi and been through different VRMMOs, but it's a different feeling when you see an alien for real! Granted, she has already seen other races on the fleet, but they were way more humanoid. ]
