[Cheese is rarely on the ship while they're planetside, preferring to explore and enjoy the great outdoors and endless wandering planets provide. He still has his party pony duty, however, and that will find him in the kitchen, trying to make a birthday cake.

Have you ever seen someone without hands bake a cake? It looks horrendously complicated.

He's currently trying to stir the batter with a spoon in his mouth, holding the bowl pricariously with his forehooves. It's be easier if he didn't have to try to balance on the made-for-humanoids-not-three-foot-tall-ponies stool, but such is life.

Next time, he'll totally ask Belth to make the cakes.]

[ and, for a split second? tadashi isn't sure if he should even offer to help. cheese seems like he's, uh. going at things pretty intently. he leans briefly in the doorway, brow knit in thought, before he finally straightens up and leans slightly in. ]

[Tadashi that is kind of insensitive. Cheese's ears fold back as he tries to decide if he should be openly offended or not, before relenting to a much more upbeat attitude.

It's a human thing. It's just a thing that humans do. Remember this. He lets go of the spoon and offers a smile. ]

If you could help me pour this thing into the tin that'd actually be pretty handy. Everything's too... tall, and I don't wanna do it on the floor.

[ it's just a figure of speech!! he's going to wince about it later, but there's no way to figure out now if he should apologize, and tadashi just accept his fate of being an occasional awkward nerd.

in his defense, he thinks he's adjusting to the 'talking pony' thing pretty well. ]

[ he'll roll his sleeves up and head to the sink to wash his hands, glad to have something productive to do. ]
