I need help. [ There's a little bit of a whine to his voice today. He is holding up a pair of small-ish apples. They're definitely ripe, just on the small side. One has a bite taken out of it- ]

I grew them, but they don't taste good at all... Does someone want to make sure it isn't just me?

[ HE WANTED TO GROW THESE SO FENRIS WOULDN'T HATE HIM, but.. giving him gross apples would make it worse, wouldn't it. ]

Also, how do you know it is your birthday? I feel like it ought to be, because the date says so, but... Are you supposed to feel any different? How do you count, after you reach one year? Do you keep adding months?

It is fruit! Just... not as good tasting fruit as it should be. I think.

[ He's tall, with red leaves for hair and pale purple 'skin', he's pretty sure he will be recognizable. ]

[ He will be there, apple in hand, in his usual leaf-clothing.

[Nux is there not long after, the SR shuttle nearly skidding in its haste to land. If Asteffiel is a plant person, he looks something like a rock and sand person, a Wasteland person, as he scrambles out of the ship: he no longer wears his war paint, but his skin, bare to the waist, is pale and dry and covered in carefully planned scars like the ridges of mountains. His clothes are all dusty black except for the patina'd grey shackle around his wrist.

He grins broadly when he spots Asteffiel, showing a mouth full of real, gleaming teeth beneath the ones that are scarred onto his lips.]

Fruit.

[ Rock and sand people are a bit odd - there are only the dragon minions who are literally made of people and rocks, or just fire and more rocks.

Asteffiel tilts his head, blinking once, before right! They're meeting for this. ]

It doesn't taste right, but here! [ One small-ish apple, yellow and orange skinned. ]

[He bites into it immediately, still grinning. He doesn't seem to be put off at all by the taste.]

Good enough for me! It's fruit, mate.
