[Bran accepts this answer. He doesn't quite care. He's just... feeling a bit awkward right now. Allen is frightened of hurting people, that makes sense now. And Bran had shown such disregard for the damage he'd caused... It's no wonder why Allen had reacted in such a way, but Bran isn't sure how to react now that he's been cloistered aboard a new ship.]

Why are you punching those things?

Ah- strength training.

[He stretches his arm absently, his red arm visible thanks to the tank top and lack of gloves. Gloves got in the way of training, and he felt comfortable enough on the ship to go without]

I fight demon- er, monsters sometimes. Hitting these things let me stay in shape for that.

You don't use a sword? You just fight them with your hands?

[Okay, that seems fake, but okay...]

I fight with a sword too sometimes. But there's not really a lot of room to swing one around here.

[Not when it could go very badly very quickly]

Besides! I pack a pretty strong punch, if I do say so myself!

[Bran gives a little smile, wheeling slightly farther into the room.]

... Ino said that she knew my sister, back when you lived in the magic castle. Her name's Arya, and she likes fighting and swords. Did you ever meet her?

[He looks a bit surprised]

You're Arya's brother?

[Huh] Yes...I knew her a little.

[His eyes light up, and for the first time since before the gun debacle, Bran full-on smiles at Allen.]

Yes! One of them. There's Robb, and Jon, and Sansa, and Arya, and then Rickon.

[But then, thinking about them isn't always a pleasant experience. The smile goes just a bit slack at the edges.]

Ino said she was alright. I haven't seen her since before I fell.

Wow, that's a lot of siblings!

[How do you even keep track of them all?! And since he fell...that, that sounds like a bad thing. He's not sure if he should ask right now- so he'll just log it in for later]

Yeah. Last I remember, her and her wolf were alright. You'd almost never see them apart.

She had Nymeria with her?

[He seems pleased to hear this. That means she's safe, somewhere.]

We all had a wolf, even Jon. I named my cleaning robots after them.

[he gives a nod. Yep, that's right. Girl had her loyal companion of a bigass wolf. Very sweet]

Did you? What are their names?

[And what's with the "even jon"? What did that even mean??? But...whatever, he guesses]

[He counts them off on his fingers, starting at the top.]

Grey Wind, Ghost, Lady, Nymeria, and Shaggydog. Mine is called Summer, but I didn't have enough robots.

[He has to chuckle a little, at that last name of Shaggydog. Yep. Clearly named by some little kid there]

The real Summer might get jealous anyway, if he showed up and you had used his name for something else. [God knows Timcanpy would...]

He could show up here? Even though he's a direwolf?

Yeah...and I'm not sure I want to see Sokka fight a direwolf for meat.

I wouldn't let Summer hurt him. And Sokka isn't very large.

No, he's not. But he...he seems to be able to bend in ways I didn't think people could- and I was an acrobat!

They do tricks for entertainment.

Did you work in a court?

No, we weren't anything that renown. My father probably preferred it that way.

[Always moving place to place, circus to circus...yeah, settling into a court wouldn't have fit Mana at all]

We traveled from town to town to perform. Often we'd be with a circus- uh, that's like a traveling festival.

[Okay, Allen is even more interesting and exciting now.]

We didn't have many of those in the North, but I've heard about them.
