[Wonderful. Rick sighs a very long-suffering sigh, finally turning around. He also tosses the crucible over his shoulder. It probably breaks somewhere.]

L-look, I can tell you whatever I want and we both know you're just gonna poke holes in it, and try to get me to trip up, and I'll eventually outsmart you, and blah blah blah. I'd rrrr[urrp]ather avoid that. It's a waste of my time. And you probably have things to do, you look like a b-busy person.

That's a whole lot of assumptions for you to be making about me. And about how such an exchange would go. [Jennifer closed her eyes and took a deep breath. It was hard to test her patience this quickly, and yet.]

I'd just like an honest answer, please- no sob stories if they aren't the truth. What do you need and what do you want with it?

I do, but nothing very strong- we mostly get by with plant-based medicine and whatever Atroma provides us. Do you need it for yourself?
