Who: Megaman and Anders
Broadcast: n/a
Action: SS Golden
When: idk waves hands vaguely.....sometime before calibrations at least
Ever since the attack, everybody on the Golden had been pretty busy in some capacity, be it fixing up the ship or exploring what there was to be found on the dust moon. But still, a lull does come around every now and then--such as this one right here--and now was probably as good a time as any, they'd both agreed.
So here Megaman is, sitting on the edge of a cot in the medbay, kicking his legs absentmindedly as he waits for Anders to settle in however he wants as well. He's brought his engineering toolbox along with him, and it sits open on the bed at his side--he figures he might end up using some tools in there, after all, depending on how this goes. Since this is supposed to be a demonstration, sort of...
Megaman's still not entirely sure how it's going to go himself, to be honest--this certainly isn't like anything he's ever done before, and half the time he's still finding out new things about this android body himself. But after what happened in that last attack...well, it was definitely still worth a shot. They really couldn't afford to have that happen again, could they? It'd be good to have at least one person on hand to know at least a little bit about repairing the engineer who does the repairs (that's sure ironic on a few levels), and who better to trust than the captain of the ship? That's Megaman's line of logic, anyway. He does trust Anders with this much, at least, after being around him for this long, and noting the care that Anders does maintain for the crew, even if he might not always know what he's doing sometimes.
...But Megaman's still not entirely sure where to start, once Anders looks about ready to begin. There's an awkward pause as Megaman shifts on the cot a bit, folding his arms and visibly considering this. "...Alright, so--I guess we can start now! Um, there's a lot to consider, so I'm not sure what to talk about first, but..." Tilting his head at Anders, he shrugs a bit. "Okay, let's say--what things do you want to know, about how I work? I'll try my best to answer, and we could go from there?"

If Megaman picks up on Anders' massive reservations in question, he makes a similar fighting effort to seem like he hasn't anyway. (Truthfully, he still has a few reservations himself--he's only been in this body for a few months, after all...) He perks up a bit at the question--that's not too bad! He's pretty sure he could explain this. Lan had just started learning biology in school recently, too, and Megaman still remembers the diagrams in those homework files.
"Oh, that's a good idea! Probably the best place to start..." Echoing Anders' gesture, Megaman points to himself as well, thoughtful. "Let's see...so, humans have a lot of important things in the torso, right? Like, a heart and lungs and things like that...and mine's sort of like that too! Not that I do have a heart or lungs..." He laughs a bit. Ah...a heart..... "I don't have any organs, like those, it's all metal and parts. But I do sort of have a frame like a skeleton, I suppose? There is something like a ribcage here--" He gestures at his sides. "--and, instead of skin or um, muscles, there's a couple of layers of metal over that, under my uniform here. Things are sort of hollow on the inside, and most of the things that keep me running like this are in here too."
But Megaman pauses, then, looking back up at Anders. Best to check before he gets a bit too carried away, right... "Does that all sort of make sense, so far?"
