[ the feed flickers on, the camera shaking as the user clearly fumbles with the device. he's not the most graceful of creatures, isaac lahey. when it does finally center on his face, he looks a little bewildered. ]

Okay, so I've had weird dreams before but --

[ he looks around, walking around the hospital deck as though pacing the room might actually get him somewhere. ] I mean, am I dead? Is this what that great white light looks like? Because if it is, it's pretty disappointing.

[ no, really, he's had a lot of weird experiences with dreams, new places, supernatural things, and this? looks nothing like that at all. ]

I thought it would look at least a little more like Star Trek or... I don't know, more clouds? A lake, maybe. Something more scenic. [ ... priorities. ] Mexican food would be nice.

[Ahsoka just happens to be walking past the hospital deck (routinely checking for any signs of life other than herself) when Isaac's broadcasting his video. She just leans on the doorway, elbows crossed over her torso, grinning, and waits until he's finished.]

[ isaac is the king of all things awkward, so kate is likely to feel better about everything in her life aboard the ships. ]

Weird gel? That sounds disgusting. Not even like... freeze-dried mexican? They make that, right?

Oh they totally make that, you can get frozen burritos in pretty much any convenience store on Earth. That's kind of the thing, though. We're not on Earth anymore.

[But if food is so important to him it won't hurt to tell him about other options, right? Lets give this boy something to look forward to!]

Some ships have more options and there's these planets sometimes where we stop and you can get food, so it's not just the gel forever.

I mean, you could go outside to see if I'm wrong, but I wouldn't recommend it, given that there's -- you know, no oxygen. In space. Which is where you are now.
