When: The 11th, sometime mid-morning.

[The video starts up showing... Well, for most people, it's probably an empty wall, at the end of the dormitory hallway, and there's a crazy person just pawing at the wall. For those who have the lab support or cook augments that are currently glitching, though, you can see the doorway and touchpad. A hand will reach over from outside of the camera's view, touch the touchpad, the digital voice says "Level five access granted", and the door slides open, at which point she pulls a chair from off the camera to wedge it into the doorway so it can't close again. This probably looks very strange to anyone who isn't glitched.

This is when she will finally turn the camera around to show herself.]

This is Nightingale. I've found something weird that definitely wasn't here yesterday, and I'm starting to think this ship isn't as safe as was claimed. I need a party down here to investigate this, as soon as possible. Preferably people that are able to fight in case things get ugly. I haven't gone through here yet, but I think we might be on a time limit.

... And, while I'm making myself sound totally insane, something's wrong with the ship. I've been checking it with my Scan spell for a while now, and it feels more like a monster than a ship to me. Aren't there story books in here about getting swallowed whole by monsters and living in their bellies? Because that seems a little relevant.

Anyway, I'll be going to investigate this room soon. It's at the end of the dorm hallway. Anyone else who wants in, hurry, I'll be here.

[And true to her word, anyone who comes to check it out (or to check if she's completely lost her mind) can find Nightingale standing right where she said, anxiously checking her communicator. The door is still wedged open, too.]

... I was worried about that. You don't have magic sight or anything, do you?

[Of course, given that her magic sight is going nuts and seeing the ship as alive, she's inclined to attribute her sudden ability to see this door to that, too. It seems logical, anyway.]

[He glances at the door, to her and back again, before offering his hand. ]

Okay, but don't do anything weird with it. I need it back.

That seems to support my guess.

[That said, she's just... taking his hand, and pulling it through the open door. But not very far into it, because she still has no idea what's in there, and she doesn't want to get his hand bitten off by a monster or something.]

[That's so very good of her. He lets her do it, but, of course, all he can feel is WALL. ]

...Yeah, I don't know what I'm supposed to be touching here?

Okay, new plan.

[She lets go of Sokka's arm, and just steps through the damn doorway herself.]

[...Okay but. What. W.H.A.T ]

...Okay I don't-

Okay but you just- How did you walk through a wall?

[Somewhere in the back of her mind, Nightingale is quite sad that this is such a serious situation, so she can't use this to just fuck with him.]

There's a door here, with a touchpad. You just can't see it, it seems like.

I sure can't. But hey, at least you're...okay.

...You are okay, right? Being stuck in the wall-slash-room.

I'm fine.

[She steps back out, very quickly.]

The good news is, I didn't see danger. The bad news is, it was really creepy, and there were a good few places danger could be hiding.

[He ehxlaes when she reappears. That was CREEPY. ]

Oh good, so now we have...what. Secret rooms that only some people can see that might have dangerous things hiding there.

This is the best day.

We're getting somewhere the Atroma don't seem to want us. It's creepy as hell, but it's progress- Maybe if we can find connections to other places through there, we can find where the Atroma are hiding themselves.

...Huh. You have a point. Though it's not all that helpful if only some of us can see it.

You know, that's not a half bad idea! Okay, sure, map.

I'm a strategist at home, it's my job to have good ideas. Map means even if someone can't see it, they still know it's there, and it can still be used.

... But everything resets every day around here. Is there an art program on our communicators or something?

Nothing that I've seen. I wonder if anyone had paper as one of their items? You know, those three things we could keep with us while we were here? Maybe that won't reset like everything else?

It's a long shot, but I'm the master of those.

It's either that or some of the books we have in there...

Getting paper isn't the hard part, then, but keeping it. Draw a map, then take a picture, I guess?

Ooooh! Max! She takes pictures all the time, I bet she could do it.

Who's that? ... Well, if you know someone, call them over and tell them to bring paper and pen. I can draw the map from memory.

She doesn't draw pictures, she takes them.

[He mimes taking a picture. ]

She has a camera.

... Yeah. And I can draw the map, and she can take the picture of the map and store it on her camera, and we can take pictures on our comms. That way we can also test exactly how much gets reset. But the physical map is not going to stick around no matter what we do.

[And he'll send her a message ]

If nothing else, I'm confident in my plans.

[So, she's just going to look over his shoulder, nosy as she is.]

Confidence is a good thing, especially right now.

[He doesn't seem to mind. ]
