[ There has been plenty of time for stress, and not near enough time for discussion, in the opinion of a certain Miqo'te. She has already tired of searching the Marsiva in slight panic - a panic she would never admit to - in an attempt to discover the truth behind their entrapment.

She has no doubt others have searched alike, and perhaps found their own clues.

In the public baths of the Marsiva is a public hot tub, and in that hot tub is one Miqo'te, and room for more. She's wearing the tank top and the shorts as swimwear, and she stares at the camera quite confidently. ]

Though I cannot say the same of this ship, nor our unkind kidnappers, this hot tub is without flaw. I wish to learn what others have learned of this place, or hear words on the worlds from which you have come.

I'm an AI back home. [ He pauses while he breaks this down into necessary information. ] I don't have a physical body, so there's no need to take baths. [ This may just possibly raise more questions. ]

I'm pretty sure this shell is waterproofed, but I notice that I spark a lot, so until I get that under control...no cleaning for me. It's not like it's important.

A machine who possesses a heart and mind? And, though I am no engineer, I would agree that a machine does not accumulate the same muck as the flesh.

Kind of the reverse. You create the heart and mind first, but no shell. This is new. [ He frowns a little; he obviously hasn't really settled into the physical body yet. ] And weird.

A robot body's a lot less messy than [ He's about to say human, but ] a flesh body, yeah. It doesn't need to excrete anything, for one thing. [ HUMAN BODIES ARE KINDA GROSS ]

[ Her tail twitches a little, amusement rather than offence. One cannot avoid the realities of a fleshy body, and she is too old to be shy of them. ]

You need no oil? What does your encasement require?

Scrap metal for repairs, mostly. I haven't gotten into a situation where I've needed oiling yet, but this body's pretty new. I'm sure Atroma will think up something nasty sooner or later to mess it up. [ He's so optimistic, isn't he. ]

I haven't really tested the waterproofing either, but it looks like there's a coating for that. Sand's pretty bad. I'm still picking it out of my joints.

It is unfortunate you can take neither grit nor stain, and I doubt not that Atroma will test the risks of your body - They strike me as a pernicious kind.

Were I an engineer of any sort, I would offer more help, but I know nothing more than the art of piloting my world's magitek, and none of my wisdom worthy of such machinery as we find here.
