[She may think this is something that will make him walk away and quit. The day has passed, after all. It's no longer her birthday so she can't have a celebration of any kind, right?

He gasps, absolutely horrified. ]

They missed it? Well! We gotta fix this right now.

[He pulls a metric ton of confetti out of somewhere, throwing it in the air so it can drift down upon her like multicoloured snow. Don't breathe it in. He'll pull out his accordion to play her a BIRTHDAY SONG. ]

[Well. In hindsight, she really should have seen that coming. After all, a polo-wearing self-professed party pony wouldn't let any chance to party pass him by. A party pony parties regardless of reason or rhyme. Is this what going insane feels like? She thinks it might. Insanity must be an accordion serenade as you spit out bits of paper confetti. When he finally finishes, she just. Stares at him. Dead-eyed. Done with today.]

They don't really have discretion where you're from, do they?

[It's as natural to him as BREATHING. He keeps grinning, somewhat creepily, at her seemingly not minding the dead eyed stare at all.]

SURE. But who needs discretion when you can have a kickin' party???

What would you do if someone told you they didn't want a party? And that celebrating is actually a horrible idea?

Then I would find a quieter way for them to enjoy their party. No problemo.

I don't want a party. Or any kind of celebration. Birthdays aren't really a good time for me.
