[Furiosa is, on one hand, relieved to be back on the First Breath. The Calibrations were exhausting, in their own ways, and it's good to be back on her familiar rig.]

[But there's one thing that's pulling at her; a certain absence. She should have made a greater push to find and watch over Nux when they were all on the Marsiva, but she was distracted and unfocused. Now, she can't ignore the niggling truth and decides to take it to the network. She is crisp and clean, fresh from the shower and without the harsh swath of black she'd taken to wearing for Nux's sake. This, she is asking as Furiosa, and not as Imperator.]

Has anyone seen Nux? Red Fish, can you confirm?

Not sure if that's a comfort. [If Nux had been able to come back, would that mean it was possible for Immortan Joe to show up? Or his brothers or brood? It wasn't a thought she wanted to spend much time on.] I think I'd rather be a loner than risk a bad egg getting in if I'm looking for nostalgia.

It's just another cage. Just more humiliation. Serving as other people's entertainment. It'd rather take danger over that.

Words make for good weapons in the Seven Kingdoms -- for those skilled enough to use them. [ ... ] I'd not count myself among that number, however.

This isn't the Seven Kingdoms. It isn't the Citadel, either, but words aren't any match for a rifle.

[Maybe they're safer here, yes, but she hasn't let go of certain instincts.]

It's a firearm, a gun. [She struggles trying to think of how to describe something that's such an integral part of her culture.] Generally a mid to long range weapon that fires metal explosive projectiles. Rifles are long range; you don't even know where the bullets' come from before you're down.

[She thinks about it for a moment; bows weren't readily used in her world, and it takes her a moment to find a comparison.]

If a bow fired farther, and exploded on impact, maybe.

It can be. [Furiosa's tone has taken on a certain gravity. Cowardice was about the last thing she had felt when she was sighting down the scope to blind the Bulletfarmer. She'd felt a lot of things - but corwadice wasn't one of them.] Or, it could be a survivor's weapon. All depends who's holding it.

But, words wouldn't have saved us then. Wasted breath.
