Yeah, it's standard procedure on the Wondergoose. Someone visits from off-ship and we blare a foghorn, bust out the vuvuzelas, and scramble into formation like trained acrobats.

[She gets a flicker of a smile, before he tilts his head.]

[ one of these days, she's going to start bringing a dictionary with her so she can look up all these words he's been using. what is a heinous????

anyway, she perks up at that last bit, remembering what exactly she wanted to do. ]

Oh, right! I wanted to give you something, but it's a surprise! So you have to close your eyes first before I give it to you.

[That gets a blink of surprise from him already, but he figures what the hell.]

Alright, I'm closing them. Promise you won't prank me none. [He adds that as an afterthought, with his eyes already closed.]

[ she can't really check to see if he actually has his eyes closed because of his shades, but she'll trust him. it doesn't really matter anyway because she ends up taking one of his hands and places two origami snails in his palm, an orange one and a smaller one that's pink. ]

[He's tempted to peek, because of course he is, but it's not like it's dragged out. Or like Nanako is Rose. If he were dealing with Rose, he totally would have peeked.

But he looks down, with an open kind of curiosity that quickly turns to surprise, before he gives Nanako a small, half-grin.]
