I do, too. No matter how long it takes. Sometimes I think it's not so bad here, and without being stuck here, I wouldn't have met such good friends... but I can never forget that I don't belong, either.
dancingmd: (what do you know about this girl?)

[Softly:]No, it hasn't been all bad... [Her brow furrows and her voice gets stronger.] And I've been through worse things, a thousand times worse. But you've hit the nail right on the head. We don't belong here. Playing with space-time like Atroma is doing - it's dangerous. And even if what they've told is true, that nothing will be affected by our absence, we simply aren't meant to live this way: cut off from our own worlds, never aging, completely at the whim and mercy of another being.

Yeah, it is dangerous. And they don't seem to notice or care how much their meddling might be having far-reaching effects. [She crossed her arms and shifted restlessly.] Back home, my team encountered alternate realities a few times... changing one small event in a person's life can set everything else spinning off course. What sort of organization would throw that out the window for the sake of their own entertainment?

Sometimes when beings get to be that powerful, when they can manipulate time and space at their whim, they forget they can't act with total impunity. No one can, not really. There are always consequences.

[Even Q had to learn that... how well he learned it is questionable in her mind but still.]

[personal profile] forsometimenow 2016-01-06 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's true. Because if you have the power to take people from their homes and force them into a reality show and... all the other stuff they do to us, why bother thinking about the consequences? They probably think it'll never be their problem.

Maybe it won’t be, not this cycle, or even the next, but eventually, their tampering will come back to haunt them, mark my words.
forsometimenow: (done with your shit)

[personal profile] forsometimenow 2016-01-08 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
And when it hits them, it'll be nasty. I can derive some satisfaction from that, even if I don't like to see people suffer.
dancingmd: (you piece of shit)

I don't either but... I'm hard pressed to feel particularly charitable towards them right now.

Mmhmm- I don't think anybody here will lose any sleep over it if something bad happens to them. Myself included.
dancingmd: (knowing smile)

wrap?

[personal profile] dancingmd 2016-01-10 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably not.

[But then she smiles, just a little.]

What do you say we watch one of the movies on the network? I could use a little distraction.
forsometimenow: (shy)

Wrap!
