It's, uh - [ ... actually pretty embarrassing. ] Just part of the gift Atroma left me.

[ tadashi hesitates for a moment, because he seems to have reminded himself of something. ]

Speaking of gifts... do you have a second?

[Okay...whatever. Kind of looks like something Nanako would leave around back at the old house But whatever.]

Um, sure. [he gives a nod and moves to sit at the table] What is it?

[...And hey are those some of Belthazar's pastries? They look so- wait no, focus on Tadashi!! ]

[ they probably are some of bel's pastries. tadashi will just snort softly, pushing the plate toward allen, no matter what they are. look, he's used to hanging out with fred, okay. that dude is also a human vacuum. ]

I was just wondering if you knew Ino's stance on Christmas.

[!!! He knew he liked you for a reason Tadashi! he makes a happy noise at the plate being pushed to him and grab one up to eat. Delicious!]

Well, she's not Christian- but she celebrates it! At least she did at the castle.

Good. I mean - not that I'd be upset if she didn't, but... [ tadashi shakes his head, as if that'll help organize his thoughts. ] I feel like I dropped the ball a little for her birthday. I want to do something special for Christmas.

I wouldn't say you dropped the ball on her birthday. It's not your fault Hiro and Belthazar went above and beyond for it. They set a high bar.

[seriously. He was not expecting that level of effort when he first told them about her birthday.]

Anyway- What do you have in mind?

I'm not sure yet. It mostly depends on where the Fleet ends up going. If we land soon, or...

[ he trails off, kind of idly watching the door. ]

Oh- she likes flower! Especially if you know that language she's always talking about-

But oh, probably don't do it in a wreath.

She... doesn't like wreathes?

Well, no I don't think she has anything against the idea of wreathes, it's just...

Back in Paradisa, every year around Christmastime the castle would decorate itself. It was always beautiful! But....among the decorations there'd always be one sort of decoration that'd make you kiss whoever happened to be standing near you. One year wreathes were one.

[A beat]

...Also mistletoe, nutcrackers, doves and fairies were used too.

[ishere]

That's just... mistletoe, back at home. I mean, it doesn't force you to kiss anyone, but that's the tradition...

[ he trails off, taking mental inventory of the list that allen just provided him with, before- ]

Doves? Did the castle just unleash birds?
