Ahh, looks like I'm the newbie here! Hello everyone. It sure is a lot to take in - I'm suddenly in space, all by myself, no idea how I got here... Oh, but I figured some things out just watching the broadcast! Not enough, probably. [ Shrug~ ] I'll try not to ask too many questions, I promise~

This big ship is so... quiet. So, isn't there anyone to talk to out there? I'm Kotoha.

[ Suddenly, her eyes flash green. She sticks out her tongue, and it sparks with electricity. ]

[ Out of nowhere, there's now a beautiful white flower in her hand. She holds it near the camera, like she's offering it to whoever is watching, and she does this with a grin and a wink! ]

May I ask - how long have you been part of this fleet?

About two months. Others have been here for far longer.

Ahh, wow... Part of me was hoping that there was some relatively short time limit for staying here. As interesting as it could be to be in space, I have a town back home to help take care of!

[she shakes her head] If there is a time limit, I don't know about it.

[and huh] You take care of a town?

[that almost sounds familiar]

That's too bad. And according to some other people, it seems a little random when people come and go... Guess the odds are against us in that sense.

[ Small nod! ] Sakurashin. It's a small town, the only one in my world where youkai and humans work hard to live together peacefully. That's why it's so important for us to protect it.

Youkai? [it's...hard to imagine living peacefully with one of the monsters of the week, but then again, it's been made abundantly clear that everybody has different norms here.] I can't say I've really known any.

The other people don't agree with the town's living arrangements?

[ She nods. ] Not all youkai want to hurt people. Some just want somewhere to live. But yes, that's where not everyone agrees with the town... There are youkai who want to hurt everyone, just like there are humans who don't want to accept any youkai at all. It's a hard balance! But we manage.

[she nods thoughtfully] I don't envy you. It's difficult enough to get humans to accept each other.

[eheh] At least you'll find that it's a bit more cosmopolitan here. People seem to come from all different realities.
