Hello everyone! For those who don't know me, I'm Allen Walker, I'm one of the medics aboard the SS Blue Fish. Which I must say, I'm quite glad to be back on the Blue Fish after the last couple months we've had.

Just a couple announcements today! We'll be holding our bi-monthly blood drive next weekend! The blood donated will be kept in case of medical emergencies that require a blood transfusion - in other words, using scientific methods to help someone whose lost a lot of blood. If you are interested in donating, we will pay you in money. Just fill out the form attached to this video. [And sure enough, the form is attached]. If you're interested in volunteering at the drive, we'd welcome the help, just let me know.

And yes, as always, there will be cookies and juice for anyone who donates.

Secondly, it's come to my attention that during this time of year, many worlds have special holidays: Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Veil, Hearth's Warming Eve, New Years and probably others I haven't heard of yet. There's nothing wrong with choosing to celebrate them even though we are far from home. If anything, it might help people feel a bit better about being here. No matter where you are or what you celebrate- it stands true that a holiday spent with the people you cherish can be truly magical.

[There's a beat as he smiles at the camera, then he continues on in the same chipper manner:]

That said, please be careful of any holiday decorations that may actually be magical, because in some worlds' traditions that's a good way to wind up kissing your crewmates. And if you choose to spend these holidays drinking, please remember to eat and stay hydrated. You'll thank yourself in the morning.

Yes, it's- [A pause as he's clearly trying to figure out how to say it] Demigods are half human, half...god. A human and a being of supreme power mate and produce a child. Jesus, however, was fully human. God and Mary never had physical relations. That's an important part of his story.

Christians, we believe he had....I suppose you could say a deeper connection to God. A connection that far surpassed any other human's connection to the divinity. That's why we call him the Son of God.

[He gives a small ha] I suppose it would be. It's more like....people view New Years as a chance for new beginnings? But it's rarely that easy.

Um...Sort of? We only have one god in Christianity, so God is the god of everything, fertility included. But don't worry! A virgin birth has only happened once, and that was Jesus.

[So you're safe from that as long as you stay far away from weird-ass memes.]

Um, probably not. But you can make any resolution you want! And maybe you'll come up with something you'd actually keep!

What is it?

The Festival of Betyl and Sessho is the full name, but it's usually just called Full Moons' Night. It takes place about once every ten years or so, when both moons are full at once, so... Not really applicable in space, you know?

Ah..yeah, I could see why that'd be a little difficult. It's too bad. [It sounds like a festival that Clay would love honestly]

Yep. Get a date, find a good picnic place to watch the moons, hope like fuck it doesn't rain.

It's a celebration of Betyl and Sessho, who the moons are named after. They became the first heroes through their love for each other.
