[He can't find the library, so the next best thing is... stress cooking.

Anyone visiting the Bishop will find the kitchen absolutely loaded with food. Bear claw pastries, glitter-brushed macarons, freshly-baked or conjured bread (hard to tell the difference), coffee cake, angel food cake, buttercream, glazed cinnamon rolls, french toast, pancakes, crepes... And on the less-sweet side, there's meat buns, vegetable wraps, shepherd's pie, at least four different kinds of gourmet pizza, tomato-topped pasta, and... mac 'n' cheese. Look, he tried.

There are stacks of plates and a punch bowl for drinks. In the meantime, Belth appears to be dead.

Well, okay, not really, but he's sulking against the fridge with his own plate-- piled high with everything-- and with at least three meat buns in his mouth.]

[Well, she understands stress cooking. On the Marsiva, cooking was what she spent most of her time doing. But for the Bishop, without the Marsiva's stock, that amount of cooking was still pretty impressive. Honestly, she wants to give it a try, but checking on the kid is probably priority, so she's going to try to approach him quietly.]

I have, but they are not the ones I picked up from other worlds. I prefer real books to-- to ones on the computer, anyway; they do not feel or smell the same, and the screen hurts my eyes.

I still have the few very special ones I kept in my room, at least...
