[ the video feed comes on and Nova is in the kitchen on First Breath. Her communicator is on the table in front of her and she's looking at it, chin on her hands. She looks... bored. Exhausted of being bored. ]

I'm not going to say we aren't well-equipped here, but does anyone have any actually real meat? That hasn't been pre-chewed? If I have to have another of these genuine canned meat products...

Anyway, we can probably barter something. Like I said, we're well-equipped.

[ she turns her communicator around the kitchen so people can see the spice rack and fancy extras they have. Though, it might be noted, it's not like she cleared this with any of her fellow crewmen... ]

Yeah, nothing off the top of my head. But hey, that reminds me. When we got the stuff on our comms, I got an e-book of mythology. You're welcome to take a look if you want. It's pretty cool.

It just shows you a lot about the gods and goddesses of old civilizations. This one's Greek and Roman myth, more of the popular ones anyway. You should be able to pull it up on your comm.

[She leans forward sort of like she's trying to see something over there.]

You ever heard of Artemis?

She's the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt, among other stuff, and she usually had a bow and arrows with her. I think you'd find it interesting at least.

Oh. Huh. Yeah, that sounds interesting.

How do you know about all that stuff?

Mom'd read stories to me and Bell when we were kids. She had to reread them after a while, but I never cared. It turned into me testing myself, seeing how much I remembered from the last time I heard that one.
