[ His first moments of waking up are pretty typical; groggy mumbling, hands and arms flapping around and a jerk that brings him upright then standing. Something... feels wrong. ]

Wha- Where am I?

[ His hands goes to his belt, only to grasp at air. It's alright, don't panic. It's not the first time he lost his lightsaber, not the first time he's gotten a concussion with the foggy space in his memory either. He checks his right arm, gripping it along the junction where durasteel meets flesh while he takes in his surroundings.

He scowls at the video feed that looks particularly turned on. But he doesn't care about that now. His arm is brought close to his face, and his own Jedi commlink beeps. ]

Obi-Wan? [ Nothing. ] Artoo, come in. [ More nothing. ] This is Anakin Skywalker, requesting emergency-- [ An odd electrical sound and click later, he sighs. ]

Great. I better not have to ask Obi-Wan to pick me up.

[ The same arm reaches out towards the ship's communicator and it flies to into his fist. Now, the feed points away from him and through his point of view as he scans the Hospitality deck. ]

What is ... this ship? [ The communicator shuffles. ] Where is this transmitting to?

[He might be on a different ship, but Ahsoka feels it the moment Anakin arrives. His presence in the Force is unmistakable to her. It's only a matter of time, she thinks, before he wakes and realizes it too. What should she do?

It was only days ago that Nightingale had asked her whether or not she'd like to see people from home here. She just didn't expect to be confronted with the opportunity to find out so soon. A complex knot of emotions roils around in her stomach, filled with things she can't quite identify.

It's almost a relief when the broadcast comes through. Something to distract her from herself, to take the decision out of her hands. Simple questions, simple answers. This she can do. She takes a deep breath, and switches the feed on. Her face is carefully neutral.]

... Anakin.

Do you want the good news, or the bad news?

[sandhate]

Ashoka.

[ This.. he didn't see it coming. He has tried so hard to blocked the need to feel for her in the Force that he forgot how reassuring it was, how loudly it sings in their connection. And how bitter he is over the events that has occurred. ]

Let's get the good one first. Save the bad for later.

[resnipstance]

[She makes a pretty good effort at keeping her voice level.]

... The good news is, you're safe for now. Whatever system we're in, it seems to be a different galaxy entirely. There's no war here. ... No Jedi, and no Sith, either.

[She learned that the hard way.]

[ Hm, a force sensitive. He can't be that far off then. ]

Outer Rim? Wild space?

[sandhate]

[ He sighs heavily. Because a name doesn't do anything, it's just a name. ]

Oh, that's great. Now I know the name of the ship where I'm being held hostage.

[ He pinches the bridge of his nose ] Sorry, this isn't the best situation to be in. Do you know what sector is this?

[sandhate]

[ No war is a bonus but there's an absence where the warmth of the Jedi always held, and a cold looming from something he's dreading and inspired from just seeing his former Padawan here. He push it aside for now. ]

And the bad?

[Ahsoka hesitates for a second, then she says the next part all in a rush:]

... We've somehow traveled to another galaxy outside our own entirely and are being held captive by a species called Atroma for their entertainment and I have no idea how to get us back.

[PHEW. Pause for breath.]

[sandhate]

[ There's a lot of static and shuffling and sighing while he process this. This is fine, they've gotten into worst before. ]

Wait, did you say entertainment? We are fighting a war! And where is my lightsaber? Do they think taking that away is entertaining too?

[ There is no chill in Anakin Skywalker. No chill at all ]

[Ahsoka didn't have her lightsabers anymore even when she got here. They're lost to the bowels of Coruscant. But she had hoped maybe Anakin still had his. No such luck.]

Yeah, I don't think they really care about that. All they seem to care about is that we play their game. They probably have your lightsaber, too. They take away everyone's weapons.

I've been working on something in my own time to try and take them down, but... there are cameras everywhere. It's kind of hard to formulate a plan of attack when the enemy is watching your every move. [She is not happy.]

[Anakin Skywalker. Anakin was here, or at least a version of him, and Remy was ready to just let the communication to pass by ignored. At least until he thought back to his time before he got dragged here, when he was stuck in Luceti and his friendship with Luke. This was the man's father, much younger no doubt, but there was still enough lingering attachment to his friend that Remy decided he should reach out and offer the man a hand on the situation.

Not that he was sure he had much to offer a Jedi who was use to flying through space. Still, it was enough for Remy to pick up his com and reply.]

Nope, farther than that. We're in a completely different one.

Don't worry, though--apparently the being that brought us can manipulate space-time--actually, that is pretty worrying, but it means we can get back within our lifetimes.

[ His head hurts from all this. It's been a pain espeically in his neck but there's a voice in his head that stubbornly tells him to ignore, ignore it. Get out and then tend it. He turns the comm towards him, finally seeing her for the first time in ... a long time. A beat, before he looks away. ]

A game. Don't they know we're fighting a war. [ His scowl deepens ] Well, what can we do here? Any way to hijack the ship?

[ They shouldn't even talk about that over the enemy's comms but asking where she is... He's still mustering the will to ask that. ]

[sandhate]

[ Well, there was Mortis so that possibility of that... just got a lot more real. But equally ineffective, inactionable. ]

Oh, that's really reassuring. What are the chances of them being nice about this and just letting us go home? [ Don't answer that, it's redundant and he's sort of whining ]

I'm Anakin Skywalker. I don't think we've met but... I sense the Force in you. And I know just about everyone form the Order.

[ What with the thinning ranks and all... ]

[ He almost laughs. The hottest reality program. No, space reality program. He remembers a time in his childhood where he would actually want to watch those: working in Watto's shop, and while he's supposed to be mediating, while Obi-Wan drones on about something he's heard a million times. ]

This is ridiculous. What are we supposed to do, wait around and until they get bored of us?

I'd say they're pretty close to zero. [ANSWERING ANYWAY because he is whining. but she can sympathize.]

A good idea, if we knew what happened to people once they vanished. [There was a shrug of a shoulder to go along with that.] Don't get me wrong, got a bunch 'round here that ain't likin' the situation 'nymore than sure ya do, but their ain't that many options. It's pretty comfortable for a prison cell, if ya can put up with confided spaces, which 'ssume ya use to with ya travels, but it still be a prison.

'nd think of it this way, if ya manage to get free, then what? Donno where we be, donno how far we are from a recognizable form of civilization, don't even know what universe we be in. Know it sounds all like a downer, but more the case of make the most out of a bad situation.

I have control of the ship I'm currently on though, not that it seems to mean much. I can pilot the thing around, but if I try to take the ship more than a day's reach outside of the rest of the fleet, the controls autolock and take us back.

You'll be put on a new ship soon -- a week, at the latest. You might as well get comfortable while you can.

[ Artoo could do it, he thinks. Not bitter at all. Nope.

He looks out the large window in the Hospitality Deck and at the ships that are around it. ]

So, we're on a floating game show with no way to get out. We just have to play this game and wait until they get bored of whatever we do here. That's just what I need.

[ ANOTHER SIGH. ] Which one are you on?

[resnipstance]

It's called the Starstruck. It's the one that's a bit... uh. Sparkly.

[IT'S SOOOO SPARKLY. Even from where Anakin is hundreds of meters away on the Marsiva, the Starstruck stands out.]

[sandhate]

[ Dryly: ] Well, at least I'm in a big cage and look at that, I'm not chained up either.

[ He's just so annoyed but he could try to be pleasant. ]

How do you like the game show? You don't look like you like it. Or it doesn't like you.

[ He makes a audible noise of disgust. ]
