[Here's a face you haven't seen in a while, flooters. The shaggy dark hair, the scrawny arms, the gap in his front teeth--yep, Hiro Hamada has not actually gone home.

[He is asleep, though, it seems, lips barely parted as he takes in shallow breaths. But after a moment of this, he starts to stir. His eyes flutter open, and he squints at the ceiling. Something is wrong, here.

[This is not his ship.]

... Wh...

[His voice is a laughable croak, and he starts coughing.]

... shit...

[Language, Hiro.

[He sits up, looking around, and it starts to dawn on him that... actually, this does look a lot like the Bishop. Just... different?]

... Ohhh, crap. [There he goes, recognizing that he took one of those coma naps. He drags his hand down his face. He doesn't realize he's being recorded yet.]

[Her smile softens, and her eyes sharpen with honesty.]

We're on some kind of snow and salt planet now, by the way. I'm not even kidding. The whole place is like a ski resort with kitschy lickable souvenirs.

You're kidding. Did I miss Christmas?

Nah, you've still got... eight days?

[She surprises herself with the calculation - that's a lot of presents she needs to make really quickly.]

We all missed Halloween and Thanksgiving, though. I'm pretty sure Allen's never going to be over it.

We missed Thanksgiving?!

[hiro has never sounded so offended in his life]

[She nods gravely.]

But we'll totally be planetside for Christmas, we can make up for it. I am going to eat some goddamn real turkey, or no one's gonna hear the end of it.

I'll help make it right. Aunt Cass taught Tadashi and me everything we needed to know.

What, you can cook up more than just trouble?

[It's cheesy, it's almost cartoon cheesy, but she's just so happy to see his dorky face again.]

[he makes a gagging noise]

That was bad. That was really bad, Alex.

[She bursts out laughing, the smile on her face genuine.]

Hey, things have changed since you conked out. I'm happy now. It's embarrassing.

What? Happy? Who broke you?

[delincuente]

No one broke me, you dork. I've just got a boyfriend.

[everydayhero]

... Who do I have to break. You say the word, I'll do it. Who is it?

[delincuente]

Hey, I can break him myself if I ever need to. [Total lie. He could kill her in a heartbeat, but they don't talk about that.] His name's Stefan. He's my First Mate.

[everydayhero]

Stefan. First mate. Got it.

[he's going to go meet him very soon.]

[She can't help but smile. Anyone else, and she'd probably be a little embarrassed. But not Hiro. He takes care of his family, that's one thing she knows about him, and she's pleased to know he thinks this highly of her.]

Just don't rough him up too bad. He's the only one on this ship who can cook.

If he were to "disappear", I'd volunteer, don't worry.

[he'll cook for you if your boyfriend turns into a dickbag, big sis]
