[Going out on an ice planet was probably not the smartest call, considering she's literally cold blooded like a snake, but she had felt restless on the ship for so long. It reminded her too much of being trapped in the Twister and so she took the opportunity to get out and wander while she had it. She's never celebrated Christmas (the most experience she has with the holiday is the sort of sad sack men who came to strip clubs on holidays because they had no family) but she knows of the holiday anyway. Not that she plans on doing anything with it. Still, it might be fun to explore the shops a little, assuming she can manage to do so without dying in the process.

On the video screen she can be seen bundled up. Scarves, ear muffs, the works. All in black, and all in an attempt to keep warm. It's the most clothes she's worn in a very long time. Which leads her to:]

Given the circumstances as they are I was wondering what people's favorite ways to keep warm are. I've not had a lot of experience with weather like this and while bundling up is a given I'm open to other suggestions.

[Anything to help her feel less sluggish and gross.]

And if your suggestion is going back to the ship? Save it. I realize that's an option but I'd rather enjoy the time we have off of them as much as possible. So helpful answers would be preferred.

Well, indeed. I suppose I thought you'd like to know it sounded that way.

As far as other suggestions, I'd say while you're on the planet the hunting lodges are in the habit of keeping a large fire in the lobby. That might be somewhere you'd find agreeable.

If you have the spare money for it they'd also have furs there you could buy to wrap up in. But the fire will be the biggest help, I think.

[Shawn likes money, but money doesn't come by without work - and so Shawn sweet-talked his way into working at a few of the tourist traps. His outfit kind of shouts "local tourist guide" even if. He's more of a tourist than the people he's guiding.]

[ She dislikes the snow, but has no fear of it, so she's been wandering the wilderness without hesitation. Such is the need for hunting. ]

I am not overly fond of such weather. Do not go without food and hot drink too long, always move without hesitation through the snow and do not linger in the ice lest parts freeze, and make sure to never get wet in a blizzard unless you do not fancy all your fingers. The cold is more endured than defeated.

I figured it was mostly a case of surviving it more than anything else. That's good advice though, I'll be sure to take it on as much as possible.

Some rejoice at the sight of snow, and find it refreshing. I am not one of them.
