Who: Robb Stark & you
Broadcast: Fleetwide broadcast & some action
Action: The Marsiva
When: 22nd of December
[Before he starts to talk Robb peers into the box given to him. Apparently it works like ravens only faster and without wings. And would it also mean that everyone could see him?.
He figures he should sound firm and sure. Especially in an environment he does not entirely know. Well, he knows some things but not enough to string things together properly.]
Good morrow. How did I arrive here? [He rolls his shoulders a little and moves a hand through his hair.] I have heard I am part of a show. But why is that so? [Could people really see him through this thing? He peers into the box again and for a moment anyone hearing this can see a large blue eyeball gazing at them. Finally it zooms out and Robb talks again.] I have not asked for this. There are other places where I am needed.
I appreciate all answers. The ones who are able to send me back to where I belong will not be forgotten. If it is coin you wish we can talk of that. My name is Robb Stark. [A pause. Still, he has to know so he asks the most important question of all.]
Can anyone see me through this?
[Robb is still wearing the clothes he came with. He remembers he spilled a bit of grease on his collar when he was at the Twins but it seems to be gone completely. When he looks at the direwolf pin that keeps his cloak together it seems to shine even more than it did before he entered lord Frey's great hall.
He walks slowly towards the large windows and narrows his eyes a little. He has been told about space and planets. He has been told about ships flying through space to visit said planets but the actual view is even more impressive than he imagined it to be.
His fingers tighten around the crown he is holding in his hands.]
It is a never ending darkness...
[He mutters the words more to himself than anyone who is close to him. Gods, it is even more impressive than he imagined it to be. Like the blue sky only further than that.]

... Has it been a long time since you last saw them?
no subject
Aye. Too long. [When he moves he looks a little impatient.] They have been lost to me. [Dead, even.]
They will not let me see them.
[He is still gazing at Ahsoka through the screen, wondering if she is wearing some space-like hat or that that is actually her hair.]
no subject
[Ahsoka notices the staring, after a moment. She's perceptive like that. Unfortunately for Robb, he is wrong on both counts-- it neither a hat, nor her hair. She cocks an eyebrow at him.]
... Is there ... something on my face?
no subject
[Like he should always have been.]
No...ah... [Maybe he has been staring too hard.] My apologies. [He does not speak of it further. It would not be polite to ask a lady if she was wearing a hat or that her hair is her hat at the same time.] Your face is [Orange.] fine, my lady.
no subject
You've never seen a Togruta before, have you.
[It's not a question. It's a statement. She doesn't look offended, though. Just amused.]
Most people here haven't, it turns out.
no subject
[She is probably from space. Instead of answering her last sentence with that surprises me not, he just smiles in an apologetic way.]
no subject
Togruta don't have hair like humans do. The pointy bits on top are actually horns. I know, mine are kinda short... but they grow taller as we get older! Also, they're super sensitive to vibrations in the air, so we Togruta have very good spatial awareness.
The bottom half aren't actually part of the horns. They look joined, but they're a separate body part. Like your hand from your forearm. Humans like to call 'em "head-tails," though the proper word for them is lekku.
How's that for an alien anatomy lesson, huh?
no subject
If they were on your head they would not be called tails. [He mutters the words softly, as if it is something he muses for himself.]
Well, I cannot say. I have never met an alien. [Well, now he does.] We do not have creatures like you where I live. [The tone of his voice is hesitant. To be fair Robb Stark has been living underneath a rock and all he knows about other creatures are of stories. And most stories he does not deem true to begin with.]
If you would walk there they will kill you within the blink of an eye.
no subject
I'd like to see them try. I'm not so easy to kill.
no subject
That is a bold statement, my lady.
[Most of his men are rather good with axe and sword.]
What kind of weapon would you defend yourself with?
no subject
But I can defend myself pretty well even without a 'saber. I've been trained in most forms of combat since I was young. Hand to hand, staff, blaster-- you name it. I can probably use it.
no subject
That is rather impressive, my lady. [He smiles a little.] I know how to handle a sword. But I am better with a lance. [A snort.] I am not much of an archer, I am afraid.
[Theon was...]
no subject
If it makes you feel any better, I don't really have many other practical skills. Turns out Jedi training doesn't really prepare you for living in the real world!
no subject
Aye. I think I get that. They should name it lasersaber then, not?
[Well, his lord father has also not prepared him for the confusion that came with having a crown atop of his head.]
You should not blame your master for that. [Whatever a Jedi might be. Probably something important.] After all, you cannot ask a blacksmith to teach you about cooking, not? And I am quite sure a cook would not be able to forge a sword.
no subject
[She shrugs.]
... I don't blame Anakin for that. He was a great master-- I learned a lot from him. Just... stating the facts.
no subject
Is your master here? [It could very well be. After all, space has brought his siblings back to him.] If so, mayhaps he can train more people. [Well, she did spoke of him as if he were gone. Using was instead of is.]
no subject
Why, do you want to learn from him?
I warn you, he doesn't go easy.
no subject
Is he?
Does he train everyone to handle a saber made of light? Is that a common weapon? Or one of your realm?
[A saber would be close to a sword. And what he knows of these guns. He knows them somehow but they do not feel common.]
oops i'm sorry i thought i replied to this ages ago!
It's a Jedi weapon. I would say that "only Jedi wield them," but in practice that's... not always how it works out. There are plenty of lowlives who'll steal a lightsaber from a dead Jedi if given the opportunity.
[Her tone makes it clear what she thinks of that.]
no prob!
If so it would be wise to protect them from these low lives. Bury a Jedi with their weapon. [That seems right to him. But then again, he is no Jedi.]
no subject
Burying them with their owner is the custom, but... in war, that isn't always possible.
no subject
War changes a lot. [He nods, agreeing to that, sounding like an old man when he says it.] Vows and promises mean nothing anymore. [And he definitely knows about that, since he broke the promise made to lord Frey to marry Roslin. Yet he is not going to tell about it.]
Is your realm at war then, my lady?
no subject
See all those stars outside the window of your ship? Some of them are actually not stars, but habitable planets like your own. About five percent of them, usually. Five percent doesn't sound like a lot... until you realise how many hundreds of billions of stars are out there. Anyway, all the stars around us make up one galaxy.
[That's a... very simplistic and not ENTIRELY scientifically accurate way of explaining it, but she doesn't want to get bogged down in the details.]
But yes. The galaxy is currently at war. We used to be largely united under a democratic republic... but several years ago a separatist faction gained traction and has declared war on the Republic.
no subject
I have never considered the fact that Westeros is a land upon a planet, my lady. [So that would mean there is way more beyond the realm? And Essos? And the Iron Islands. And the lands behind the Wall.] But it could very well be. [He shifts a little and places the black box in front of him.] So space is everything and galaxies are things within space? And within galaxies are planets. And on planets there are many lands.
[Gods be good, it would be something to be the king of an entire galaxy.]
Your galaxy, I take? [Robb crosses his arms.] What is the reason for your war?
no subject
Truth be told, iiiit's a little bit complicated. The Separatists seceded from the Republic years before the war. But then it turned out they'd been building their own army in secret, and were planning to go to war against the Republic all along. They claim the Republic is corrupt, and that they're "liberating" planets from our oppression. But it's the Seppies who are corrupt and oppressive! Their leader is literally a Sith Lord, and they invade and occupy planets whether they like it or not!
