[This sudden turn of events has left Atoli stunned. She's to be frowning near the hospital decks. Her mind is boggled for various reasons.]

Um, can anyone hear me? My name's Atoli. I don't know what's happening. I woke up and I suddenly found myself here I--[The poor girl seems to be having trouble putting her thoughts into words. With her expression and tone it's clear that she's not taking this very well at all.]

I can't seem to remember anything from before I arrived. I think I was supposed to meet up with my friend. I got lost afterwards. [She definitely emailed Haseo and told him to go meet up with her at the Forbidden Grounds, so why is she here? It's puzzling.]

Would someone please help me? I'd hate to be a burden, but I need to know what's going on. This isn't "The World" is it?

Oh, thank you. [She bows down in gratitude.]

Are we allowed to cook here? How do we obtain food? I'm a little concerned. and um, I know that we're far away from our old homes now.

I'll do my best here too! [Atoli won't get anywhere by crying. She'd better ask questions while she can.]

[Wanda smiles sympathetically. She can still remember what it felt like to arrive in the Fleet for the first time. The confusion and the fear that came with it.]

Yes, we are certainly allowed to cook here. In fact, there are several people in the fleet who's specific job it is to cook. As for food, you are free to pick up whatever you want at the waystation and planets we visit. Otherwise, Atroma seems to take care of restoring supplies when they run low.

[She takes on a more serious tone as she knows the next words may be difficult for the new girl to hear, but it was important that she hear them, nonetheless.]

It is true. We have all been brought here, taken away from our homes. Some of us have been reunited with people we knew from home, but sometimes... it is not always the same person you left behind. It is unclear how or why we were chosen, but we know at least that we will be returned home if we are able to "win" this little show we have been forced on to.

The more I hear about this place the more mysterious it sounds, but I understand what you're trying to say!

[It's an easy concept to grasp.]

What did you think when you first arrived here? I bet it must have been pretty shocking! Suddenly you're surrounded by all of these people you don't know.

[Wanda's so nice and helpful. Atoli feels like she's talking to an old friend even though they just met. She enjoys speaking with others and she wants to learn more about Wanda's experiences too. ]

[Wanda had to admit, Atoli seemed to be taking things rather well.]

I was a lot less composed than you are.

[She chuckles a little as she remembers her arrival and the little "tantrum" she threw.]

It took me a little longer to understand what was happening, and to get used to it all.

It's really scary and overwhelming. [Atoli's had plenty of time to think to herself by now. It'll be alright as long as she keeps her head straight.]

I've decided to do what I can for now! Take it slowly. There's no use in rushing. Wouldn't you agree?

In this moment, yes I would agree. Back when I first arrived, not so much.

Do you know what your augment is? Have those been explained to you already?

I don't...think so? [Atoli backtracks through her memory and searches to see if anyone has told her. Sure she's been given a guide but there are still plenty of things she doesn't understand.]

Would you mind explaining to me? I'm still having a hard time understanding what's happened to us.

It might be easier to start with you telling me what you do know already. How much has already been explained for you. Then I can try to fill in the remaining gaps as best I can.

Let's see...I've been told that we're being watched by many people and we're currently in space! [It sounds so weird saying that.]

Atroma's responsible for doing it. What else? Oh! There's lots of different ships here.

[Too many ships. ]

Well, that certainly is the basic gist. Yes, we are in space. And yes, supposedly, we are on a galaxy wide show. There is little evidence to prove this beyond Atroma's word and occasional gifts from our "sponsors," as they are called.

There are also, indeed, many ships. The one you are on currently is called the Marsiva. It seems all new arrivals spend some time there at first. The span of time does seem to vary though. Once that time has elapsed, Atroma will assign you to one of the smaller ships in the fleet. Your position will be determined by the augment you were given. If you feel your skin behind your left ear, you should notice a slight bump. That where the augment was inserted by Atroma. If you think on it, you should realize that there is a lot of information that you somehow already know, despite probably never having had an experience from which to learn this information.

It is a lot, I know. In my case, I am on the Starstruck. I have the tactical support augment, so my role on the ship tends to deal with support defense and other tactical needs. There are some who are cooks, pilots, engineers. Again, if you try and think on it, it should come to you.

You're all the way on Starstruck? I wonder if it's possible for people for other ships to visit each other.

[It's not as if the ship can just change course at a simple request. Everything's much more complicated than that.]

I think my augment is lab support! I thought really hard about it and that's the one that came to mind.

[So she'll be in charge of medicine and things like that.]

Yes, it is certainly possible. People do it here all the time.

[She smiles reassuringly.]

Once you get assigned to your own ship, you will see.

We're lucky to have so many nice people here. [It's warms her heart to know that people care even though they come from different places.]

I'm still thankful to you, Wanda. Can I call you by your first name?

[It's not rude is it? Atoli seems a little shy.]

I do not know what other name you would call me by.

[She smiles a little, encouraging Atoli to use her first name. Seriously though, Maximoff? Just going by her last name? Nah, wouldn't feel right to her.]

Where I'm from it's considered impolite to address someone by their first name right away.

I'm happy you don't mind me calling you Wanda! It's a pretty name.

Should I call you something besides Atoli then?

[Her tone is playfully teasing.]

Atoli is fine! It's not my real name though. My real name is actually Chigusa Kusaka.

I prefer Atoli.

[It's a nickname she loves.]

[Wanda doesn't exactly see how you could get "Atoli" from that, but whatever. She shrugs, grinning warmly.]

It is a pretty name. Both your pretty name and Atoli. If Atoli is what you prefer, then that is what I will call you.

I really love birds. It's almost a shame we don't have them here. Are you fond of any animals Wanda?

I would say that I am fond of most animals. I can not think of an exact favorite.

Oh, I see!

Sometimes you don't really think about these things, right? I guess it'd be hard to have a favorite when something specific doesn't come up instantly.

I guess I would say that I like cats. They're pretty cute, and I like smaller animals that can be held.
