Paper and pens...? You might be able to buy some on one of the planet stops. [ He's never really had a use for it, so he hasn't bought any, sadly. ] What do you need those for? If you want to write something down, there's always your communicator's notes.

If it was just writing, I would do that. [ He takes his note-taking very seriously. ] But I need to be able to draw highly intricate, accurate diagrams, which then I an add my many notes to the side.

These things don't have tablet functions? [ He shakes his head. ] What a pain.

Are you trying to write down schematics for your parts, or something? [ He can't say he wouldn't be disinterested in seeing those later. ]

Even tablets cannot get the level of precision I need. [ A head tilt. ] No, but you're not far off. I take notes on my master so that I may learn the secret of his strength. Why do you ask?

I guess there's nothing that beats pencil and paper, huh. [ He sounds kind of wistful. Even in an age where everything became digitised, his operator had still drawn schematics with traditional tools. ]

Oh - my operator's an engineer. He likes to build things, and I help him visualise how the structures fit together, and what parts he needs to make it work...that kind of stuff.

You're a cyborg, though. Your master must be pretty strong if he can exceed such good parts. [ He's seen Genos around enough to know that the cybernetics are quite something. ]

[ An operator... is that what this guy calls his master? Do they tag team battle?! Does this one fight in his operator's stead— ]

My master is the strongest man in the world. [ Genos... your priorities. ] I had parts built specifically to defeat him and they were nothing in comparison to him.

[ His expression flickers briefly from its usual neutrality to something a lot more worried, but it passes quickly. ] Nah. It probably wouldn't be good for him to be here anyway, so...
