video/action;

Who: Hera and YOU!
Broadcast: Video; fleetwide.
Action: The Marsiva hospitality deck.
When: January 4

[ Well, this is clearly a ship, in space, but it's not the Ghost, or any other ship she might be familiar with. It also clearly isn't an Imperial Star Destroyer - if Hera had been captured by the Empire, she'd be really obviously in a prison cell, or worse. Plus, there are no stormtroopers in sight. So, probably not Empire, but probably not the rebellion, either.

Other than that, it could be just about anyone holding her. And she needs to get more information on the situation. A number of possibilities present themselves - she could keep her head down, sneak around, and see if she can eavesdrop it. Or she could play the wide-eyed innocent, and use this handy-dandy video link she seems to be equipped with (seriously, who gives a captive a comm link anyway?)

The comm could be some kind of trick or trap, but Hera trusts her own resourcefulness, so eventually, she flips it on. ]

Uh, hello? I think there might've been a misunderstanding of some sort, here. I've lost track of my ship - were we supposed to go through some kind of inspection?

And mine.

[It's too grim a future to contemplate in any real detail; she needs to get out of here.]

My name is Leia Organa. I'm sorry we're meeting under these circumstances.

Yes.

[It's becoming amusing, the way everyone recognizes her surname and immediately jumps to memories of her father. For her own part, Hera's name provokes a little spark of recognition in Leia, too. Someone in the Alliance, she knows that much for sure. She'll have to do some thinking to try to remember who.]

Bail Organa was my father. You worked with him, didn't you?

I thought your name seemed familiar.

[The question of timing makes it more complicated to say anything more than that, though.]

It gets to be a headache. [To say the least.] Everyone seems to be from a few different times, though. What do you last remember?

It's been a busy few years. [Which is to say...yeah, she gets it. There's plenty that's hard to discuss, especially with the knowledge she bears about some of their fellow captives.

The B-Wing, a prototype, though...that's well before the present and well after the past, even if she can't place the exact year off the top of her head. Her brows raise.]

It sounds like you're somewhere in my past. So you were flying for the Alliance?

[As long as they're circumspect about Certain Aspects of the future, Leia's not sure it'll make much difference in the long run. By her time, the existence of the Rebel Alliance is hardly a secret.]

Congratulations! You must be quite the pilot.

I'd believe it. [She might not be leading a squadron, but she knows how much work comes with any appointment.] With luck, we'll all be home soon. There's too much to do to waste time on a holo-drama.

It's not exactly the beaches of Spira, that's for sure.

[Vacations usually come with real food, just saying.]

But the Atroma hasn't left a lot of avenues of escape open. Don't get too comfortable, but don't expect to leave tomorrow.
