[ by all accounts, sansa stark has survived. she now lives on an armoured ship. her brothers are nearby -- alongside one brother's devoted friends, who have all been more kind to her kin than she can put to words. although nothing so much as approaches normal, she's beginning to feel settled. stability creeps in from the corners.

and this allows her to ask a question of her fleetmates: ] Is there any means by which I might find spare cloth and thread? And needles, too, of course. The ships give us so much, but I'm not certain -- [ not certain they can give me these. she does not understand their magic, nor the purchasing power of her device. ]

I like to embroider. I should like to do it again, if I could. [ but without a handmaiden to bid fetch these things, she doesn't know how to begin. perhaps it's as simple as looking in the correct spot -- but she was never raised to procure or purchase anything in her life. ]

[ almost conspiratorial: ] Snowball battles. A-and I like to make castles when the snow is good and sticky.

[Katie grins widely. Hallelujah, you have a playful side.]

Castles are fun! How big did you make yours?

On occasion, their towers were half-as-tall as me. So long as there's room in the courtyard, a whole village could be made.

Ahh, that sounds like so much fun. I liked making snowmen armies standing outside mine, but I'd never let them in.

[steeledskin]

Are they the enemy's armies, then? Mayhaps you should make armies of your own. Great snow knights and horsemen.

[flickerflash]

I'd like to! But I never had much room before. [She brightens.] Maybe once I'm not grounded I'll go and make a huge castle here and show you.

[And then she was sick until they left planet. oops.]

[steeledskin]

I -- [ part of her wants to refuse. but the rest? the parts of her growing stronger with every day spent alongside her brothers? ] I would like that. I would like that a lot.

[flickerflash]

[Katie smiles brilliantly at her.]

...I'll bring wool the moment I can.

[steeledskin]

[She smiles and is about to hang up before she remembers, clicking her fingers.]

Oh! Which ship are you on? So I know where to bring it all!
