Who: Sansa Stark and anyone.
Broadcast: Video. Fleetwide.
Action: Find her on the Blue Fish, if you like.
When: Midday.
[ by all accounts, sansa stark has survived. she now lives on an armoured ship. her brothers are nearby -- alongside one brother's devoted friends, who have all been more kind to her kin than she can put to words. although nothing so much as approaches normal, she's beginning to feel settled. stability creeps in from the corners.
and this allows her to ask a question of her fleetmates: ] Is there any means by which I might find spare cloth and thread? And needles, too, of course. The ships give us so much, but I'm not certain -- [ not certain they can give me these. she does not understand their magic, nor the purchasing power of her device. ]
I like to embroider. I should like to do it again, if I could. [ but without a handmaiden to bid fetch these things, she doesn't know how to begin. perhaps it's as simple as looking in the correct spot -- but she was never raised to procure or purchase anything in her life. ]

She's a little bit of a compulsive liar. So if she tells you she found a ship-sized horse for everyone to ride on, there's a likely chance you're gonna see something not as ridiculous as that.
[He isn't sure how the woman feels about fae, so he'll just leave that out of the description for now.]

[ sansa announces it as fact. curiously, she doesn't seem hurt by the revelation. after all, sansa is something of a liar in her own right. and she can empathize with why a little girl might want to hide her name. so, in the end, she nods. ] Could you tell her, please, that I don't mind her real name one bit. And it's equally as pretty as Dorothy is.
[ sansa glances over her shoulder, deciding at last: ] You may bring the wool into my...my solar, if you like.
[ she has no better word to call her office. ]

She does that a lot.
[Also announced as fact, and not at all an issue.]
But I'll let her know for sure. Uh — sure thing! [He moves to go first. Mostly because he figures she'd want to be able to have this random stranger in her direct line of sight than trailing after her. He's gotten used to this kind of thing, being a surprise guest. A random stranger who fixes your sinks, or an FBI agent with a questionable last name. A yoga instructor that actually isn't one, though he's practiced it. So it goes; in places like this, he feels much more genuine than home.]
The name's Sam, by the way. I'm from the Red Fish. So I guess that makes us distant relatives, considering this is the Blue one.
[Ha.]

Sam. [ she repeats. a short and simple name, but perhaps it stands in for something else. ] Mine is -- you already know mine, I suppose. Welcome to the Blue Fish.
[ she walks a few feet behind him, and the door to her office isn't far. ]

If you'd like to be even, I'll pretend I didn't catch your name and you can do the whole 'introduction' thing over.
But thanks. Haven't been on another ship yet, really —
... Yours is significantly less creepy than mine.

slowly, she begins to bundle the wool once it's out of his care. she twists and winds it like it's second nature: the beginnings of a ball. ] What's wrong with yours?
no subject
Oh, it's... mostly good. Except the Atroma apparently re-decorated everything to look like a dungeon. They've got skull designs everywhere, which, you know... hardly strikes fear into anyone but the people living in it.
[It's tragic, really.]
Imagine my surprise, going from the Marsiva to that.

Might it be a show of strength? [ she frowns. ] Back -- back in King's Landing, where the king of Westeros lives, they used to keep dragon skulls in the great hall.
no subject
Well, people trying to board will take us seriously, at least.
... Until they meet the crew, anyway.
[He motions to the door, toward the rest of the ship.]
Getting along well with yours?

Brothers, huh... It's good to have family around. But maybe that's just me; back home, it's always dangerous, so having my brother here would be... pretty nice, actually.

[And we're not just talking about who'll be president in 2016.]
I guess you could say it was at least bad enough that I was pretty prepared for even crazier things to happen, like ending up on a ship in space.
no subject
Nothing quite like this has ever happened to me, ser. [ she errs on the side of a title; it's easier. ]
no subject
That's usually the way it is for everyone.
Guess I'm just a weird anomaly. You get used to it after a while, when it seems like other universes fancy having you around. Have you been doing alright? I mean, all things considered. Space is... pretty overwhelming.

Ah, sorry - sorry, I'm. I don't usually just invite myself into places; that's rude.
I'll just leave all this here.
If it's not enough [god why wouldn't it be] let Katie know, she'll be more than happy to toss more your way.
